The scope that closed
Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza has finished a propertywide renovation. Loews calls the spend multimillion-dollar and publishes no sum. Hotel Dive reported the completion on 15 October 2026.
The finished work covers 341 guest rooms and suites, the lobby, the arrival sequence and two new restaurants. A final phase runs to January 2027.
The hotel stands at 2100 West End Avenue in Nashville. Cvent records the building as opened in 1984, and Hotel Dive cites that register for the date.
Hugh Anderson is the general manager. “For more than 40 years, Loews Nashville has been a defining part of Music City hospitality,” he said in the release. “This transformation builds on that legacy.”
The rooms and the lobby
All 341 rooms carry new finishes, and the count includes 28 suites. Studio DADO, a South Florida studio, designed the interiors from Nashville’s artistic and cultural identity, per Loews. Hotel Dive describes a soft neutral palette with music references in the detail.
The lobby now runs as one open room. A new staircase joins the lobby floor to the mezzanine. A 53-foot sculptural chandelier hangs as the centrepiece, and a custom glass installation of brass instruments backs the reception desk.
Two restaurants
Maisonette Patisserie & Coffee occupies the lobby as an all-day cafe and marketplace, with pastries baked on site and coffee roasted by Frothy Monkey.
Masons at West End runs as a restaurant, a bar and a performance room, with a booked lineup of Nashville artists. Loews describes the room as a modern take on the classic supper club with chef-driven American cooking.
The January 2027 phase
The last phase refreshes the Symphony Ballroom and its adjoining foyer and adds an outdoor lawn. The release puts the ballroom at 8,500 square feet. The hotel publishes 24,000 square feet of function space across the property.
The ballroom, the foyer and the lawn all carry the January 2027 date, and a group buyer prices the property against that date.
The market around it
Hotel Dive sets the completion against a busy Nashville pipeline. Westin Nashville has finished a $13.5 million renovation of its rooms and meeting space. The 245-room SongTeller Hotel opened in September 2026 with a museum on Dolly Parton’s life.
Two projects remain in the pipeline: The Nashville Edition, a Marriott International-branded luxury hotel and residences, and a 326-room luxury property and residences from Pendry Hotels & Resorts.
Loews Hotels & Resorts is based in New York City and operates 26 hotels and resorts across the United States, per its website.
The record on the money
Loews has published no dollar value for the work. Multimillion-dollar is the company’s own characterisation, and Hotel Dive repeats it with no sum attached.
