A free gate and five priced add-ons
The Ichimura Miami-Japan Garden runs its fall festival on Sunday 1 November 2026. The gate opens at 10:30am and closes at 4pm. Admission costs nothing.
The garden publishes the programme on its home page. Taiko drumming, a cosplay contest, a sushi-making demonstration, Japanese guitar and flute performances, a haiku discussion and a Bon-Odori ceremony all run free inside the gate.
Five activities carry a price on the ticket page. The 11:30am tea ceremony costs $15. The 2:00pm sushi demonstration costs $15 with a sample plate and nothing to watch. The yukata experience costs $25 for an adult and $15 for a child, in a 15-minute session behind the FJG Refreshment tent. The ikebana class with supplies costs $15. The 11:00am onigiri class costs $5.
The same page sells six standing amounts: $1 for water, plus $2, $3, $4, $5 and $10 buttons.
An adult who books tea, sushi and a yukata spends $55 inside the gate.
The garage prints the only parking number
The garden sends drivers to the Jungle Island garage at 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail. The directions page prints the rate. Jungle Island charges $20, and a $5 coupon handed out at the park during a festival brings the day to $15.
Jungle Island prints the same $20 on its own park information page, as a flat daily rate for a covered garage. Neither publisher prices a partial day. The coupon takes 25 percent off the daily rate.
The approach runs off I-395 eastbound at exit 2D, across the bridge, then a first right onto Parrot Jungle Trail and around under the bridge with the garage on the left.
One adult who books tea, sushi and a yukata and parks under the coupon spends $70 on the day. Food sits outside that figure. The garden asks guests to bring small bills for food and drink, and it asks for the phone receipt at the front desk on any payment made after 11pm on Saturday.
Vendors pay two published prices
An inside vendor space costs $45. Outside entrance spaces 23, 24 and 25 cost $25 each. Space sells first-come, first-served. Vendors bring their own tent and table, and the spaces carry no electricity. The garden states no refunds, no rainchecks and no change of mind after payment.
Rick DelVecchio handles booth and sponsorship enquiries at 305-992-0703.
The garden publishes no vendor count for this edition, so the two prices do not multiply into a revenue total.
Where the beds sit from that garage
Watson Island sits between downtown Miami and South Beach. OpenStreetMap road routing read on 20 October 2026 puts Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay 2.93 km from the garage at a 5.6-minute drive, and Hilton Miami Downtown 3.01 km at 5.9 minutes. The Marriott reads 1.25 km in a straight line.
The garden publishes no lodging partner, no room block and no festival rate. Each property prices the night of 1 November from its own inventory.
Jungle Island shares the garage. The park runs 9:30am to 5pm daily with last admission at 4pm, and the festival closes at the hour the park takes its last admission. One garage serves both gates at one rate.
What the day leaves unprinted
The garden publishes no attendance forecast, no vehicle count and no vendor list. The event runs rain or shine. The schedule is approximate and subject to change, and the garden offers no rainchecks.
The sponsor column lists the Adrienne Arsht Center, City of Miami Parks, Elks Lodge 1676, Jungle Island, Lan Pan Asian Cuisine, Miami-Dade Cultural Arts and RICOH. No hotel appears in it.
