Remington Takes the Hilton Arcadia Management Contract

Hilton's December 2025 opening release named Azul Hospitality Group as manager. Remington announced the 173-room Arcadia contract on 15 October and named no outgoing operator.

Remington Hospitality announced on 15 October 2026 that it has taken the Hilton Arcadia Pasadena Area into its third-party management portfolio. The company works from Dallas. The hotel is the 173-room property that opened in December 2025 at 123 W. Huntington Drive in Arcadia, California.

Hilton's opening release of 11 December 2025 named Azul Hospitality Group as the manager of the same building. Azul sits in San Diego. Remington's announcement names no outgoing operator and dates no handover.

The building

Urbanize LA reported the project as the adaptive reuse of a three-storey office building with an attached six-storey wing. VG Properties developed it. Axis Architecture designed it, and the facade takes Art Deco elements from the Santa Anita Park racetrack across Huntington Drive.

Remington places the hotel at the foot of the San Gabriel Mountains, across from Santa Anita Park and about seven miles from Pasadena. The release counts more than 17,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, anchored by the 7,140-square-foot Centella Ballroom. Hilton gives the ballroom a capacity of up to 450 guests and two built-in 16x9 LED screens.

Three dining venues trade in the building. Hipico Rooftop Restaurant and Bar serves craft cocktails and Baja-inspired bites, and both companies call it Arcadia's only rooftop bar. 19Seventy at the Ovalo Restaurant and Bar runs all-day Italian-inspired dining. Sottaku by Kisen and Kaiseki Motoishi serves sushi. The hotel also carries a heated outdoor pool, a 24-hour fitness centre and a Hilton Honors Executive Lounge for qualifying guests.

Urbanize LA recorded opening rates from $229 a night in December 2025. A 232-room Le Meridien opened across Huntington Drive in 2021, and a 93-room Tempo by Hilton is planned next door.

Two names for one address

Remington writes Hilton Arcadia Pasadena Area in the title and body of its release. Hilton titles the property Hilton Arcadia Los Angeles and links hilton.com/arcadialosangeles. Both name the building at 123 W. Huntington Drive.

Three counts of one portfolio

Remington's release prints 135 hotels in 27 states and Washington, D.C., across 33 brands, with 16 independent and boutique properties. The company homepage prints more than 120 hotels, 26 brands and 19 independent and boutique properties. The press-release index prints 121 hotels in 30 states across 26 brands, with 18 independent and boutique properties.

All three carry the 1968 founding line. None carries an as-at date.

What the announcement leaves out

The release publishes no management fee, no contract term, no transition date and no staffing plan. It names no owner. Chief executive Ben Perelmuter refers to ownership as a partner, and the text carries no ownership entity. VG Properties developed the hotel, and no source ties that developer to the current owner.

Perelmuter's case for the property, in the release: it "combines new construction, a rooftop venue, and significant event space in a location with strong leisure and group appeal".
