EOS Hospitality's 65th Hotel Comes With a 60-Hotel Boilerplate

EOS Hospitality takes over the 100-room Graduate by Hilton Storrs, its 10th addition of 2026, in a release that prints 65 hotels and a 60-property boilerplate.

EOS Hospitality has taken over management of Graduate by Hilton Storrs, a 100-room hotel at 855 Bolton Road in Storrs, Connecticut. The Hartford Business Journal reported the change on 9 October 2026 and credited EOS with announcing it the previous Thursday. The release that carries the news is datelined 15 October 2026, a week after the announcement.

Ten additions, three from one owner

The Storrs hotel is the tenth EOS has added to its portfolio in 2026. It is the third to arrive this year through West Anderson Partners. The release puts EOS at 65 hotels and resorts nationwide.

Ten additions in one year describe an operator that wins separate mandates. Three of the ten came from a single owner, which makes that owner the largest identifiable source of growth the release names. West Anderson Partners' own March 2026 release confirms the two firms are linked on this asset and names no second or third property.

The building record

Mansfield property records show ownership passing to a limited liability company tied to West Anderson Partners in December 2025. The purchase was financed in part by a $17.64 million loan from AMP SHC Mortgage Lender LLC, under a leasehold mortgage dated 16 December 2025. The five-storey, 80,090-square-foot building was built in 2001. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The property predates its brand. Patch reported in September 2018 that the hotel then traded as the Nathan Hale Inn with 98 rooms and a 2001 opening. The 100-room figure rests on the issuer and on the Hartford Business Journal.

Two portfolio totals in one release

The release body reads 65 hotels and resorts nationwide. Its closing boilerplate reads more than 60 properties spanning coast to coast. EOS's own portfolio page carries a third wording: "Today, we operate more than 60 hotels and over 150 restaurants, spas, and hospitality venues for a select group of ownership partners." That page's property grid did not list Graduate by Hilton Storrs on 24 October 2026.

A portfolio of 65 satisfies both wordings, since 65 sits above 60. The grid lags the announcement.

One of three operators, two of them unnamed

The release describes EOS as one of only three third-party operators of the Graduate by Hilton brand. It names no other operator. Hotel Dive reported on 5 October 2026 that Hilton bought Graduate Hotels from AJ Capital Partners in 2024 for $210 million, and that 35 Graduate properties trade across the United States and the United Kingdom with 60 in development.

Mais on college towns

Simon Mais, chief executive officer of EOS Hospitality, framed the addition as a market entry. "Graduate by Hilton Storrs represents an exciting opportunity to expand our presence in college-town markets," he said. "The Graduate by Hilton brand has built its identity around celebrating the communities that define these distinct college-town destinations, an approach that aligns closely with our own philosophy." He added that the company would look to grow alongside the Graduate brand and West Anderson Partners.

EOS lists Mais as chief executive officer on its own people page and appointed him in June 2023, alongside Mark Keiser as president and chief development officer.

What the release leaves out

The release carries no management fee, no contract term, no incentive structure and no performance baseline for the Storrs contract. It names no owner entity and no purchase price.

The 2026 record shows where the company spent its effort. It signed a revenue-management agreement with IDeaS in October 2025 across a portfolio the vendor put at 60-plus properties. It named Matt Kerver senior vice president of food and beverage in March 2026.
