Dreamscape Gives Patenaude the CEO Title and a 40-Hotel Target

Dreamscape Hospitality promoted Adam Patenaude from president to president and chief executive officer, with the release projecting more than 40 hotels across 13 brands.

Dreamscape Hospitality has promoted Adam Patenaude from president to president and chief executive officer. He keeps both titles. The company announced the change in a release shared with Hotel Dive.

LODGING Magazine, hotelbusiness.com and Hospitality Net carried the release on 13 October 2026. Hotel Dive and HOTELS Magazine carried it on 14 October.

The record the release claims

Patenaude joined Dreamscape in May 2024 and led the company's launch. The release credits him with guiding the operator through a period of significant growth, operational excellence and strategic expansion, and with consistently exceeding performance goals. The release publishes no metric, no baseline and no measurement period behind that sentence.

Two senior seats from Aimbridge

Hotel Dive reports that Patenaude was senior vice president of operations at Aimbridge Hospitality before he joined Dreamscape, a title it draws from his LinkedIn profile. Dreamscape named Bill Stadler chief investment officer in September 2025 from the same company.

Patenaude set out the case for that hire in his own statement at the time. "Bill's experience in scaling major portfolios and executing transformative investments will be instrumental as Dreamscape accelerates its growth," he said.

The pipeline figure from September 2025

The September 2025 release carried hard counts. Dreamscape managed more than 35 hotels at that point and held 60 properties in its pipeline.

The October 2026 release carries no pipeline number. It states that Dreamscape holds an extremely strong pipeline that will expand its national presence into new markets. It names no market, no property, no hotel count and no signing date.

What the release counts today

The release projects a portfolio of more than 40 hotels by the end of the operator's second full year. It places that portfolio across 13 brands, including Hilton, Marriott International, Hyatt and IHG Hotels & Resorts. Independent and boutique properties sit inside the same count. The release identifies none of them.

The release also reports strong improvements across key performance indicators for the portfolio. It supplies no indicator, no percentage change and no comparison period.

Hotel Dive describes the company as Dallas-based and the current portfolio as dozens of hotels. HOTELS Magazine reports a corporate support centre in McKinney, Texas, completed in 2025.

The team the title carries

The release ties the title to a hiring programme. Patenaude will continue to build a corporate support team with the expertise and resources to support the portfolio, per the release. It names no headcount and no deadline.

The board statement

Eric Birnbaum chairs Dreamscape Companies, the parent above the operating company. He placed the growth record on the owner side of the business.

"Under Adam's leadership, Dreamscape Hospitality has grown at a pace that would be impressive in any market, but what makes it remarkable is how that growth has been built on strong relationships with our owners and partners," Birnbaum said. "The foundation he's built will allow us to expand strategically, maintain our standards of excellence, and deliver unmatched value for our partners."

Dreamscape did not reply to a Hotel Dive request for comment on future growth plans by the time of publication.

The quarter around the appointment

Hotel Dive placed the promotion inside a third-quarter slate of hospitality executive appointments. Its other named move was Pyramid Global Hospitality naming Chris Dunne chief financial officer.

The release carries no effective date for the expanded role, no management fee and no contract term. Patenaude holds the president title and the chief executive title at the same time.
