The Oregon Podiatric Medical Association holds its conference block at 375 NE Holladay Street, Portland, OR 97232, where the Hyatt Regency stands. The organiser publishes a discounted rate of $139 a night plus tax for Oregon Foot and Ankle Conference attendees across 22-24 October 2026.
The terms on the organiser page
Reservations run through 971-222-1234 with group code G-OPMA, or through a Hyatt group-booking link. The booking deadline is 30 September 2026.
The block size stays unpublished. The page reads that a block of rooms has been reserved and stops there. No room count, no attrition clause and no performance term appears on the organiser's pages.
What the guest pays above the rate
The City of Portland and Multnomah County codes require the lodging establishment to collect 11.5 percent in transient lodgings taxes from the guest. A bill may carry a further 3 percent, itemised separately under the name 3% Portland Tourism Assessment.
On $139, the 11.5 percent adds $15.99 and lands the night at $154.99. Three nights bill $417 at the room rate and $464.96 with the county tax. At 14.5 percent the three nights reach $477.47.
The organiser prints plus tax and no figure.
The nights a delegate needs
Thursday, Friday and Saturday each open at 7:00 a.m. Saturday closes at 1:15 p.m. at the last published session, against 1:45 p.m. on the programme page. A delegate who attends all three days needs the nights of Wednesday 21, Thursday 22 and Friday 23 October.
The organiser publishes the rate, the group code and the cut-off date. It publishes no night list for the block.
One event in the building across the block
The venue's October calendar lists four events. OPMA holds Room F150-151 from 22 to 24 October. Functional Fabric Fair runs 27 to 28 October in Halls B-C-D-E. ZERO to THREE runs 28 to 29 October in Hall A. CANVAS 2026 runs 30 October to 4 November in Halls A1-B-C.
OPMA holds the building across the three block nights. The month's overlap falls on 28 October, when Functional Fabric Fair and ZERO to THREE share the house, four days after the block closes. A property pricing transient rooms for 22-24 October prices against one convention in the district.
The room is the whole bill for two tiers
Six registration tiers apply. OPMA members pay nothing until 1 August 2026 and $49 from then. APMA members and allied health professionals pay $499 on the early date and $549 on the late one. Non-APMA members pay $1,199 then $1,249. APMA residents and students pay nothing at either date.
Three nights at $417 come to 83.6 percent of the $499 APMA rate and 33.4 percent of the $1,249 non-member rate. For a member on the free tier, or a resident, the room is the only published cost of attending.
Pickup, and where it is reported
The organiser publishes two booking routes. One is a telephone line at 971-222-1234. The other is the Hyatt group-booking link carrying G-OPMA. Both routes sit inside the property's own reservation system.
No page on the organiser's site describes a pickup report, a block review or a reporting date. Nothing published states how the property reports rooms picked up against the block. The two published control points are the group code and the cut-off date.
The cut-off sits 22 days before the open
30 September 2026 sits 22 days before the Thursday open. The registration ladder stepped on 1 August 2026, 82 days before it.
The $50 late step on the APMA tier runs larger than the $47.96 of tax across the full three-night stay. A delegate who decides after the cut-off pays more to register and books outside the $139 rate.
What the block leaves unmeasured
The venue publishes 800 garage spaces and a dynamic parking rate of $15 to $25 at entry on event days. The organiser publishes no attendance figure, no exhibitor count and no room count. A displaced transient night stays unquantified on the published pages.
The count the property holds is pickup inside the block, and the date that count is taken is 30 September.
