Portland LEARN Opens in Three Days With No Published Hotel Block

The ZERO TO THREE LEARN Conference runs October 27 to 29 at the Oregon Convention Center with a 2,500 cap and no published Portland room block, room list or group rate.

Three days out, no hotel list

The ZERO TO THREE LEARN Conference runs October 27 to 29, 2026 at the Oregon Convention Center, 777 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Portland. The organiser's FAQ states space is limited to 2,500. The venue calendar books Hall A for October 28 and 29.

The organiser's Hotels & Attractions page carries no Portland property. The page now serves the next conference in Baltimore. It states there that room blocks are closed, that the group rate is no longer guaranteed, and that guests may call a hotel directly to ask whether the rate is honoured.

The FAQ still looks forward

The FAQ answers the accommodation question on its own page: "Discounted hotel rates are available on a first-come, first-served basis for registered attendees. Hotel blocks will be shared as soon as they become available."

That sentence carries no date and no property. The hotels page prints no Portland rate, no room count and no cut-off date.

The third-party warning

The hotels page warns that companies falsely claiming to represent ZERO TO THREE offer discounted rooms and request payment details. It reads: "ZERO TO THREE does not use third-party agencies for hotel bookings."

An attendee holding an unsolicited room offer has that line to check it against.

What a desk can quote

No block rate and no cut-off are published, so a property sets its own price for the night. The demand behind a LEARN request is a capped 2,500-person conference with no block to book into.

The nights follow the programme. Pre-conference sessions run October 27 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The opening reception runs 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. the same day. The Wednesday plenary opens at 9:00 a.m. The Thursday keynote runs 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. and the conference closes at 5:00 p.m.

A delegate attending all three days books Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights with a Friday checkout. A delegate attending the two main days books Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

What else sits in the building

The venue calendar lists the Functional Fabric Fair in Halls B-C-D-E on October 27 and 28, LEARN in Hall A on October 28 and 29, and CANVAS 2026 in Halls A1-B-C from October 30 to November 4. LEARN shares October 28 with the fabric fair.

Parking at the hall

The garage holds 800 spaces. Parking costs $15 for up to 18 hours with no in-and-out privileges, and the venue charges a dynamic $15 to $25 at entry on event days. The garage opens at 6:00 a.m., takes cards only, bans overnight parking and does not guarantee a space.
