The level the frame reached on 22 April
Okan Tower poured its 50th floor on 22 April 2026. Florida YIMBY reported the level that morning and put the 902-foot tower at roughly 75 percent structural completion, with 22 floors left to pour.
"Reaching this stage of construction is a significant achievement for the project," said Bekir Okan, chairman of Okan Group. "Okan Tower represents years of planning, design, and coordination."
The report of 9 March 2026 recorded the frame at level 48, the curtain wall at about level 25, an exterior hoist on the west elevation and two tower cranes along NE 6th Street.
Seventy storeys in three reports, seventy-two in two
The storey count moves across the published record. The groundbreaking release of 20 June 2022 calls the tower 70 storeys. Florida YIMBY's report of 9 March 2026 also calls it 70. Its reports of 8 January and 22 April 2026 call it 72, and the April report runs "22 floors remaining to reach its full height of 72 stories".
Both counts describe the same 902 feet. No published document explains where the two floors went, whether one count includes mechanical levels, or which figure the developer now uses. A property file that needs one number should carry both and the date attached to each.
A top-out in August and a delivery in 2027
Florida YIMBY's April report says the building is expected to top out in August. It attaches no year. Its March report says the project is expected to be completed in 2027.
The 2022 release set completion in 2026. Ground broke on Friday, 17 June 2022, at a ceremony attended by City of Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, former Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim, Turkish Ambassador to the United States Murat Mercan and Fortune International chief executive Edgardo Defortuna.
The two hundred million dollar C-PACE line
Okan Group closed $200 million in C-PACE financing for the tower. Florida YIMBY reported the closing on 8 January 2026 and named Bayview as the provider. That report ties the money to the vertical work and carries no further capital figure. The 2022 release carried no construction cost.
What the stack holds above the podium
The programme is unchanged from the groundbreaking release. Okan Tower holds a 316-key Hilton Miami Bayfront Hotel, 236 condo-hotel residences managed by Hilton Hotels & Resorts, 163 Sky Residences and about 64,000 square feet of Class A office space, with retail and dining at the base.
The hotel and the managed suites together give the address 552 rentable units. That sum is arithmetic on the two published counts. Neither the developer nor Hilton publishes a combined inventory figure.
Behar Font & Partners designed the tower, with a curved facade the release attributes to the tulip, Turkey's national flower. Fortune Development Sales markets and sells the residences.
The fit-out package both releases name
The 2022 release and the 2026 reports describe the same amenity list. It runs to a 70th floor rooftop pool and sky deck with private cabanas, a 12th floor lap pool with a clubroom and indoor and outdoor lounges, a health and fitness centre with a yoga studio, Peloton bikes and MIRROR, and a wellness spa with sauna, steam and treatment rooms. Florida YIMBY's April report adds a hammam.
The list continues with a children's sensory and play room, a technology theatre, and a wine cellar and owner's lounge. Florida YIMBY's March report puts the lifestyle amenity space above 80,000 square feet. That figure covers the amenity programme, and it measures the whole building.
Three items the record leaves open
The record carries no opening month. A 2027 delivery is the closest the published material comes, and it arrives without a quarter.
The April report names Hilton Hotels & Resorts as manager of the 236 condo-hotel units. No management agreement for the 316-key hotel appears in any release reviewed here.
The record lists no meeting or event space. That is a statement about the releases and the reports. It says nothing about the building.
Four items for the watch list
The top-out, dated to August without a year in the April report. The curtain wall, last reported at about level 25 in March. The storey count, which needs one number and a date. The opening month, which no party has published.
Each item arrives with a named source when it lands. Okan Group has released every milestone figure in this record, and Florida YIMBY has reported each one within days.
