The team hotel list still carries Evansville
The 2027 NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving Championships run Tuesday 9 to Saturday 13 March at the IU Natatorium, 901 West New York Street, Indianapolis. The NCAA's host-site release names the Great Lakes Valley Conference and Indiana Sports Corp as hosts.
The championship page's Championships Team Hotel Options group carries a single document, and it is the 2025-26 edition titled 2025-26 Championships Hotel Options - Evansville, IN. It names seven properties at double/double rates from $115.00 to $159.00, with tax at 15 percent and one reservation cut-off, Monday 2 March 2026 at 5 p.m. local time. Per-property blocks run from 5 to 40 double/doubles a night across the 8 to 14 March 2026 window. Every property prints a distance of 7.3 miles to the Deaconess Aquatic Center, and the header reads HOSTED BY UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHERN INDIANA.
No 2027 Indianapolis list, rate, block or cut-off date sits on the championship page. The NCAA's own event page publishes the 2026 document alone.
The venue's own calendar, stamped 2 September 2026
The IU Natatorium's events page carries 30 dated bookings from September 2026 to June 2027, 11 of them between February and June 2027. The page carries an update stamp of 9/2/2026 and the line Events are subject to change.
March 2027 holds two bookings. The D-II championship takes 9-13 March, and the USA Swimming Speedo Sectional Championships run 18-21 March. Five days separate the D-II close from the Sectional's open.
February 2027 holds four bookings, and the last three are championship meets. The Jaguar Aquatics Winter Invitational runs 5-7 February. The IHSAA Girls Swimming and Diving Championships take 12-13 February, the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships 17-20 February, and the IHSAA Boys Swimming and Diving Championships 26-27 February. Gaps of four days and six days separate those three meets, and ten days separate the last of them from the D-II open.
The field and the city count
The field is 380 participants, per the NCAA's 2026-27 Important Updates memo: 175 men, 157 swimmers and 18 divers, and 205 women, 183 swimmers and 22 divers.
The downtown count behind the campus address is 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis, 4,700 connected to the Indiana Convention Center by skywalk, 200 downtown restaurants within walking distance and 15 minutes to the airport, on the Convention Center's attendee hotels page. Visit Indy's meeting-hotels page adds 34,000 rooms in the metro area and more than 8,300 downtown with more than 3,000 in the pipeline.
Work Truck Week takes the Convention Center 9-12 March on the organiser's own site and 10-12 March on the venue's feed, the first three nights of the swim week.
The clocks that are still missing
The 2027 session schedule, doors clock and session count are unpublished. The NCAA's Important Updates memo states that the Prechampionships Manual, which carries the session detail, posts on ncaa.org by mid-November. The same memo dates the diving qualification meet to Tuesday 9 March at the IU Natatorium.
Tickets for 2027 are not on sale. The NCAA ticket page runs a Sign Up for Info route, carries a card reading Indianapolis, IN March 9 - 13, and publishes no price. The 2026 edition sold all-session tickets at $87 and adult finals at $17.
The entry clock closes the travelling party late. Online meet registration opens 14 January 2027. Qualification closes 21 February. Official qualification lists post by 5 p.m. Eastern on 24 February, 13 days before the open, and relay confirmations close at 5 p.m. Eastern on 26 February, 11 days out.
