The Booking
The American Dental Association holds its 2026 Scientific Session at the Indiana Convention Center from 8 to 10 October. The venue forecasts 4,000 attendees. The association runs the meeting alongside the Indiana Dental Association Center for Excellence program.
The venue's own events feed lists 16 events between 22 September and 15 October. Three of them overlap the dental dates.
Three Forecasts, One Building, One Saturday
The FullScale Symposium runs 8 to 10 October in Sagamore Ballroom 1-7, with a venue forecast of 1,000. The ABC Health & Fitness Expo runs 10 October in Exhibit Hall A, with doors open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and a forecast of 2,000.
Saturday 10 October therefore carries three venue forecasts inside one building, at 7,000 people in total.
The dental programme continues past the exhibit close. The ADA House of Delegates meets from 10 to 13 October in Indianapolis. The association lists Denver for 29 October to 1 November 2027 and Indianapolis again for 27 to 30 October 2028.
The Supply the 4,000 Lands On
The venue counts 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis and 4,700 of them connected by skywalk. Visit Indy counts 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms connected to the Center once the expansion opens, and more than 10,000 rooms within walking distance once the downtown pipeline delivers.
The Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is the project to hold in view. The venue's expansion page describes an 803-room hotel on a skybridge, with 90,000 square feet of meeting space including a 50,455-square-foot Grand Ballroom. The page gives December 2026 as the target and counts 2,500 construction jobs, 400 new hotel jobs and almost $300 million in annual economic impact from retained conventions.
The venue's news file dates the milestones. A 6 October 2025 item records the topping-off at 38 stories. A 21 April 2026 item announces reservations for stays from 1 February 2027 and gives the hotel as 800 rooms, the city's tallest, the Center's newest headquarters hotel, with seven dining experiences, a wellness and fitness center and Indiana's largest ballroom. Visit Indy lists the same property at 803 sleeping rooms, 235,000 square feet of meeting space and a 50,000-square-foot ballroom.
The Market Behind the Date
Bradford Allen published a Downtown Indy Alliance snapshot on 19 March 2026. The snapshot cites CoStar and STR. Downtown occupancy averaged 64.7 percent against a U.S. average of 62.4 percent. Downtown ADR averaged $209.11, up 12 percent year over year. Downtown RevPAR averaged $135.20, up 13 percent and 35 percent ahead of the U.S. figure of $99.96.
CoStar counted 8.1 million room nights of demand in the 12 months to mid-2025, more than 580,000 above the market's pre-COVID peak. The construction pipeline at mid-year held more than 1,500 rooms, 3,402 rooms in final planning and 3,220 rooms proposed. PwC expects U.S. RevPAR to rise 0.9 percent in 2026.
The Group Terms the ADA Publishes
The ADA publishes no block rate, no property list and no block size. Its housing deadline of 18 September has passed, and housing questions route to ADA@maritz.com. A property that wants this group works through the association's housing contact.
The registration terms are public. The Dental Practice Group Discount takes $50 off each Conference Pass for three or more member dentists or team members from one practice, $100 for four and $150 for five or more, with every registrant on the same registration record. Advanced pricing closes 28 September at 5 p.m. A member dentist Conference Pass costs $699 in the advanced window and $1,099 in the standard window. The Exhibit Hall Only pass runs $0 to $25 for members and $25 to $50 for nonmembers.
The airline windows frame the travel dates. United's meeting code ZRRK230223 covers travel from 4 to 15 October 2026.
