Artotel Cheers Four West Java Sports Sites With No Contract Signed

Artotel Group told a Jakarta forum it supports converting four West Java sports complexes into sport tourism destinations. No contract, timeline, budget or partnership appears in the record.

Artotel Group has put its name behind four sports complexes in West Java. Nothing is signed.

Founder and chief executive officer Erastus Radjimin told the Business Infrastructure Forum that the group supports converting the four assets into sport tourism and wellness destinations. He spoke on Friday 11 September 2026 at Hall Cendrawasih in the Jakarta International Convention Center.

What He Said

Sport tourism and wellness will shape the future of hospitality. That is Radjimin's line. He said the sites need hospitality, retail, food and beverage, wellness, entertainment and community activity inside them. He said that mix produces steadier use of the buildings and new revenue lines.

What He Did Not Sign

No contract. No management agreement. No partnership. No asset purchase. No timeline. No budget.

The four sites are Kawasan Sport Jabar Arcamanik, Lahan Tanjungsari, Sarana Olahraga Lodaya and Sarana Olahraga Padjadjaran. West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi and Bandung Mayor Muhammad Farhan presented them at the same session. The provincial and city administrations own them and drafted the plans.

The forum was part of Indonesia Sports Summit 2026, run by the Ministry of Youth and Sports from 11 to 13 September 2026.

The Name on One Site

Sarana Olahraga Padjadjaran shares its name with Universitas Padjadjaran. On 2 September 2026 Artotel Group signed a memorandum with that university. The scope covers education, research, human-resource development, knowledge exchange and the management of campus venues by the group.

The memorandum covers Universitas Padjadjaran. No published source links it to the sports complex.

The Operator

Artotel Group is an Indonesian hotel operator and management company across four business units: hotel, food and beverage, event management and curated merchandise. Hospitality Asia Media puts the portfolio at more than 100 hotels and over 10,000 guest rooms across the ARTOTEL, DAFAM, MAXONE and ROOMS INC brands.
