The band and the booking route
Cloudflare Connect 2026 runs Monday 19 to Wednesday 21 October at Moscone West. The organiser publishes its room block as a band of $279 to $325 per night.
Four brand families carry that band. The event FAQ names Marriott, IHG Hotels, Hilton and World of Hyatt.
One route carries the discounted rate. "To receive the Connect SF discounted rates, you must book through the official registration link, and please do not contact the hotel," the FAQ reads.
The FAQ attaches a consequence to those outside rates. Rates offered on hotel websites and through third-party travel sites "may be higher and do not count toward our event room block".
The attendee picks the hotel at registration. "You will be prompted to select your preferred hotel from our curated list," the FAQ reads. The booking step shows each property's distance to Moscone West. The FAQ names no property.
The cutoff and the desk
The block ran "until September 28, 2026, or until the group block is sold out", on a first-come, first-served basis.
Reservation changes followed that date. Up to 28 September an attendee updated the booking through the registration profile or the hotel confirmation email. After that date, "when our group's reservations are turned over to the hotels, you will contact the hotel directly for any reservation changes".
The cutoff sat 16 days in the past at this read on 14 October 2026. A booking made now falls outside the published window.
No page publishes the per-property rate, the number of rooms behind the block, or whether the block sold out.
Three nights, four on the training track
The organiser's own clocks set the stay. A Connect-only attendee arrives "by 3:00 PM on Monday, October 19" for the 5:00 PM Welcome Reception, and departs Thursday 22 October. That books the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
The Cloudflare University and Partner Summit tracks run on day one. Those attendees arrive Sunday 18 October, which books a fourth night.
The week around it
The Moscone Center's event feed holds 174 records. One booking overlaps 19 to 21 October: Cloudflare Connect in Moscone West.
The week before fills all three buildings. SEMICON West 2026 takes Moscone North and South from 13 to 15 October. TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 takes Moscone West over the same three days.
CoreWeave Fully Connected 2026 held Moscone South from 29 September to 1 October. INFORMS Annual Meeting 2026 follows Connect in the South from 1 to 4 November. Current San Francisco takes West on 4 to 5 November, and Microsoft Ignite 2026 runs 17 to 20 November.
The supply the block sits inside
The venue publishes two counts for the neighbourhood. Moscone's FAQ reads "over 20,000 hotel rooms within walking distance of The Moscone Center". Its Book an Event page reads "more than two-thirds of the city's 34,000 hotel rooms are within walking distance".
The Book an Event page states the venue's own premise. The Moscone Center "serves primarily to fill hotel rooms in San Francisco and potentially the surrounding area".
Engine's San Francisco page gives the city rate basis for October. It puts the average at $165 a night across 3.1 million public rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026, with October at $176.
The structure in one place
The week carries five published terms. The block ran $279 to $325. The discounted rate booked through the registration portal. Direct and third-party rates sat outside the block. The block closed on 28 September or on sellout. The property's own desk has handled the reservation changes since.
Three figures stay unpublished: the per-property rate, the room count behind the block and the sold-out date. A property that wants the number puts the question to the four named brands for the nights of 19 to 21 October.
