Core-Mark Expo Lands in Hall J-K Nine Days After the Signia Opens

The Core-Mark Expo runs 10-11 February 2027 in Exhibit Hall J-K at a 1,500 forecast, nine days after the Signia by Hilton Indianapolis opens to stays. The venue's own pages carry the hotel at 800 rooms and 803 rooms with a December 2026 opening.

A buying show nine days into the Signia's first February

Core-Mark International brings its annual buying show to the Indiana Convention Center on 10-11 February 2027. The venue's event page carries the window, Exhibit Hall J-K and a forecast of 1,500 attendees. February 10 is a Wednesday. February 11 is a Thursday.

Nine days earlier the Signia by Hilton Indianapolis takes its first guests. The convention centre's own news item, stamped 21 April 2026, reports the 800-room Signia is "now accepting reservations for stays beginning February 1, 2027".

CSP Daily News reported on 8 January 2026 that Core-Mark, a convenience-store distributor and a Performance Food Group company, added Indianapolis to its expo schedule for 2026 alongside Albuquerque and Charlotte, beside returning shows in Anaheim and Montville. The regional shows carry more than 150 vendor partners.

One building, two room counts, two opening dates

The venue publishes the Signia on two of its own pages and the counts differ. The news item gives 800 rooms. The expansion project page gives 803 rooms and dates the opening to December 2026. That page lists 90,000 square feet of meeting space, a 50,455-square-foot Grand Ballroom, a 15,668-square-foot Junior Ballroom, a 9,000-square-foot Signature Ballroom and seventy suites from 450 to 1,900 square feet. It places the building east of the convention centre, connected by skybridge.

Visit Indy publishes the same building at 803 sleeping rooms and 235,000 square feet of meeting space with a 50,000-square-foot ballroom, in a 38-story tower, expected to open in 2026. The bureau's Connected Hotels page adds that the expansion brings its package to 12 hotels and 5,200 rooms.

The convention centre's footer gives downtown Indianapolis 7,100 hotel rooms and 4,700 rooms connected by skywalk. Its hotels page adds that more than half of downtown's 7,100-plus rooms sit within blocks of the centre and Lucas Oil Stadium.

Read against the 7,100 downtown rooms, the 800-room count is 11.27 percent of downtown inventory and the 803-room count 11.31 percent. Added to the 4,700 skywalk-connected rooms, 803 rooms bring that figure to 5,503.

What the show occupies

Visit Indy publishes the per-hall table. Hall J carries 36,400 square feet, 3,140 theatre seats, 2,240 banquet seats and 174 booths. Hall K carries 38,700 square feet, 3,352 theatre seats, 2,400 banquet seats and 198 booths. The pair holds 75,100 square feet, 6,492 theatre seats, 4,640 banquet seats and 372 booths.

The prior edition ran one day. The venue's 2026 event page dates Core-Mark Expo 2026 to February 11 alone, in Exhibit Hall F-G, at the same 1,500 forecast. That page carries a past-event label.

The organiser layer

Core-Mark's expo page states that no one under the age of 21 is permitted on the show floor, under FDA regulation of tobacco products. Registration runs through the Core-Mark portal at tradeshoweasy.com.

No show-floor clock and no session grid are published. The venue's 2027 record carries no block rate, no cut-off date and no named host hotel for the show.

The first February the hotel trades

One night at 1,500 guests is 21.13 percent of the venue's 7,100 downtown rooms and 31.91 percent of its 4,700 skywalk-connected rooms. Two show days at that forecast come to 3,000 attendee-days.

The month around the show is booked. The venue's event feed returns eight dated February 2027 records at a combined 28,650 forecast. Three events share 10 February: the Indiana Health and Safety Conference & Expo closes a 7-10 February run at 850, the Indiana Green Expo closes an 8-10 February run at 2,000, and Core-Mark opens at 1,500.

The Signia's first February carries this show nine days after check-in opens. The rooms under contract for the Core-Mark Expo are published nowhere.
