The anchor booking
The National FFA Convention & Expo holds the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium from Wednesday 21 October to Saturday 24 October 2026. The venue's event record forecasts 70,000 attendees, and it names both buildings at 100 South Capitol Avenue. The organiser's schedule page prints the same four days.
Downtown Indianapolis holds 7,100 hotel rooms. Skywalks connect 4,700 of them to the Convention Center. That base reads 9.9 attendees for every downtown room if each room fills once.
Through 2033
The organiser's schedule page states the commitment in its own words: the National FFA Convention & Expo will occur in Indianapolis through at least 2033. That page prints 21 to 24 October 2026 and 27 to 30 October 2027.
The venue's expansion page lists FFA beside FDIC and NTEA in a group it credits with almost $300 million in annual economic impact. The same page reports 2,500 construction jobs and 400 new hotel jobs on the Convention Center expansion and the adjoining hotel.

Where the attendees stay
The organiser's A to Z guide names the properties on the skywalk network: the JW Marriott complex, Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, Westin, Hyatt Regency, Omni Severin, Crowne Plaza and Circle Centre Mall.
Convention housing closes 23 September 2026 at 5 p.m. EDT. The organiser publishes no rate for the block.
The market the anchor sits in
Bradford Allen's March 2026 market review puts 8.1 million room nights of demand in the 12 months to mid-2025, more than 580,000 above the pre-COVID peak. Downtown occupancy reads 64.7 percent against a U.S. 62.4 percent. Average daily rate reads $209.11, up 12 percent. RevPAR reads $135.20, up 13 percent against a U.S. $99.96. The pipeline at mid-year held more than 1,500 rooms under construction, 3,402 in final planning and 3,220 proposed.
Newmark's Midwest hotel report for the fourth quarter of 2025 puts Indianapolis year-to-date RevPAR down 4.8 percent, against a Midwest fall of 0.7 percent and a fall of 1.2 percent across the top 104 U.S. markets. Newmark ranks Indianapolis second of 16 Midwest markets on its RevPAR index, at 0.914.
The incoming supply
The venue's news page carries an item dated 21 April 2026. The 800-room Signia by Hilton Indianapolis takes reservations for stays beginning 1 February 2027. The item describes the city's tallest hotel and the Convention Center's newest headquarters hotel, owned by the City of Indianapolis with operations led by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County. The address sits on the Georgia Street pedestrian promenade in the Wholesale District, with direct skywalk access to the Convention Center and access to Lucas Oil Stadium and Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
Three publishers carry three room counts. The venue's news item reads 800. The venue's expansion page and Visit Indy read 803, with 38 storeys and 235,000 square feet of meeting space. Newmark's fourth-quarter 2025 supply table reads 814, delivering in the fourth quarter of 2026 to Kite Realty Group Trust. The expansion page sets a December 2026 target and reports 90,000 square feet of hotel meeting space, a 50,455-square-foot Grand Ballroom, a 15,668-square-foot Junior Ballroom and a 9,000-square-foot Signature Ballroom.
What the desk watches

The rodeo shuttle runs 4 to 10 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday from Maryland Street just west of Capitol Avenue, sold through convention registration alone. The venue puts downtown 15 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport.
