Two properties, one promo code
The San Francisco Fleet Week Association's Where to Stay page names two hotels for a nine-day event. Axiom Hotel is placed in Union Square, within steps of the SoMa District, and the association states the property offers a special discount for Fleet Week attendees. The booking button resolves to the property's own site carrying promo code GOV and hotel ID 66053. Hotel Caza is placed among Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach and the Embarcadero and links to its own site.
Neither entry publishes a percentage, a nightly rate, a room count, a minimum stay or a reservation cut-off date.
Caza also sponsors the air show
Hotel Caza carries the first of six names in the Air Show Sponsors block on the air show page, ahead of Cal Fire, Pacifico, Sangiacomo Wine, Ghiradelli and ASN. The association states the air show is produced for it by the Air Show Network. That producer sells the Air Show Network VIP Experience and takes sponsorship, exhibitor and corporate chalet enquiries at info@airshownetwork.com.
No bureau, no block, no cut-off
The association publishes no housing bureau and no citywide room block. No group code, no rate, no cut-off date and no room allocation appear on the pages the host serves for the week.
The one large-group transport route the host names is a commercial charter bus through CharterUP. It offers Bay Area service from cities such as San Jose or Santa Rosa. Parking routes to SpotHero, a reservation app, with no lot, street or event rate named.
What the week gives away
The programme runs on free entry. Ship tours open five windows across Piers 27 and 35 from 7 to 12 October: Wednesday 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pier 27, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at both piers, and Monday 9 a.m. to noon at Pier 35. No tour window opens on the Friday. Five hulls are named: USS Ashland (LSD 48), USS Cape St. George (CG 71), USCGC Munro (WMSL-755), USCGC Benjamin Bottoms (WPC-1132) and USCGC George Cobb (WLM 564).
The Parade of Ships runs Friday 9 October from 11 a.m. to noon along the waterfront, free, with the reviewing stand at Marina Green. The air show runs Friday 9, Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October from noon to 4 p.m. at Marina Green. General admission is free.
Fleet Fest at Fisherman's Wharf runs at the SkyStar Wheel on Saturday 10 October from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 October from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Service and Safety Expo presented by PG&E runs the same hours on both days at Pier 27. A neighbourhood band series fills the remaining slots on every dated day.
The free gate and the paid tier
Two air show products sit on the same page. General admission at Marina Green is free. The Air Show Network VIP Experience is on sale through the producer, and the association publishes no price for it.
What the host says the week is worth
The association reports more than $10 million in annual tax revenue and over $200 million in overall economic benefit. Its history page dates the first Fleet Week to 1981, under Mayor Dianne Feinstein. The same page states the Department of Defense has recognised Fleet Week since 2015 as the model for fleet weeks across the country.
The independent read is AHLA and CHLA with Oxford Economics, published 25 June 2026. Hotels generated more than $12 billion in economic impact in San Francisco in 2025. Each room night drives about $900 in citywide spending per visitor. The city's average daily rate reached 92 percent of 2019 levels, with a forecast of 98 percent for 2026 on a stronger convention calendar.
Engine puts the citywide average at $165 a night across 3.1 million par-rate observations from May 2024 to April 2026. October averages $176 and September $192, against a December floor of $129. San Francisco ranks 18th of 50 markets, 11 percent above the $148 median.
Two routes into the week
The lodging layer is two named properties and one promo code. The sponsorship layer is sold by the air show's producer. Neither route runs through a housing bureau, a room block or a cut-off date.
