Two properties, one programme
The INFORMS Annual Meeting runs 1 to 4 November 2026 across Moscone Center South at 747 Howard Street and the San Francisco Marriott Marquis at 780 Mission Street. Geocoded coordinates put the two addresses about 335 metres, or 0.21 miles, apart on a straight-line measurement.
The work splits by function. The organiser publishes one page for special events and one for community business meetings, and the two pages place the two halves on different properties.
The Marriott Marquis carries the special events
The special events page lists 36 records under a Marriott Marquis San Francisco location line. Thirty-three name a Marriott Marquis room. One names Moscone South Hall A, one names SoMa on the 2nd level without a property prefix, and one carries a room to be determined.
Twelve of the 33 room records carry a published level. Golden Gate A and the combined Golden Gate A and B room sit on the B2 level. Foothill C, D, E, F, G and SoMa sit on the 2nd level. Pacific D, H and the combined Pacific I and J sit on the 4th floor. One record carries Pacific G without a published floor. The organiser's what-to-expect page adds technical sessions in Sierra A-K on the 5th floor and the Career Fair in Golden Gate Ballroom C on the B2 level.
The spread by day is five records on Saturday 31 October, ten on Sunday 1 November, fifteen on Monday 2 November and five on Tuesday 3 November, with one undated.
Moscone takes the business meetings
The community business meetings page lists 29 records under a Moscone Center location line, in 28 distinct rooms on seven published levels. The Exhibit Level carries nine, the Upper Mezz five, Level 3 five, the Lower Mezz four, Level 2 three, the South Lobby two and the Lobby Level one. One further record on the page sits at an offsite address on 3rd Street.
All 29 start at 6:45pm. Twenty-six run on Monday 2 November and three on Tuesday 3 November.
Moscone South's own footprint runs wider than that in the meeting's published plan. Registration sits in the South Lobby, exhibits, posters and the Welcome Reception in Hall A on the Exhibit Level, plenaries in Room 24, keynotes in Rooms 153 to 155 and TutORials in Room 156 on the Upper Mezz, and technical sessions across the Exhibit Level, the Lower Mezz, the South Lobby, the Upper Mezz, Level 2 and Level 3.
Room assignments stay open
Both organiser pages carry the same line under their location heading: room assignments are subject to change. Any set-up planned around a named room holds until the organiser revises it.
The published turnarounds
Three Marriott rooms carry a same-day reuse that the published clocks can be measured against.
Pacific H on the 4th floor runs the Transactions on Education Annual Meeting from 6:30am to 7:50am on 2 November, then the Decision Analysis Annual Meeting from 9:15am to 10:45am. The gap between the published end and the published start is one hour and 25 minutes.
Golden Gate A on the B2 level runs the Fellows Luncheon from noon to 1pm on 2 November, then the Student Awards Ceremony from 7:30pm to 8:15pm. The gap is six and a half hours.
Golden Gate A runs the WORMS Luncheon from noon to 1pm on 3 November, then the Member Meeting from 6:45pm to 7:15pm. The gap is five hours and 45 minutes.
Foothill G on the 2nd level carries the New Faculty Colloquia and the Doctoral Student Colloquia, both published as 8am to 7pm on Saturday 31 October, and the Journal on Computing Annual Meeting from 4:15pm to 6:15pm on 2 November. CTL-TEN holds Pacific H on the 4th floor from 7:30am to 6:30pm on the same Saturday.
Food service concentrates at one property
The special events page names ten breakfast and luncheon functions. Nine carry a Marriott Marquis room and one carries a room to be determined. None of the 29 Moscone records names a breakfast or luncheon function, so the catering load for the day's functions sits in one building.
Two days of satellite check-in
Conference check-in and registration sit in the Moscone South Lobby at Lobby Level. The Marriott Marquis carries a satellite check-in desk on Saturday and Sunday only. From Monday the Marriott has no published badge desk, while registration at Moscone runs 7am to 5pm on Monday and Tuesday and 7am to 11am on Wednesday.
The exhibit hall runs 9am to 5pm on Monday and Tuesday in Hall A. Career Fair interviews run 8am to 5pm by appointment on both days.
No shuttle is published
Neither the venue's pages nor the organiser's pages publish a shuttle service between the two properties. The organiser's published transfer detail covers the airport run: BART to Powell Street at about $10 to $11 each way with about a 10-minute walk to either hotel, and taxis and ride-share at $45 to $60.
The block and its cut-off
The room block holds the Marriott Marquis and the InterContinental San Francisco at 888 Howard Street. Rooms stay available until they sell out or the published cut-off date of 8 October 2026. The organiser states that it guarantees sleeping room rates and availability during the event dates only for reservations made through its own hotel portal.
