One Building, Two Championships Five Days Apart
The Indiana State School Music Association brings its State Marching Band Finals back to Lucas Oil Stadium on Saturday, 7 November. The venue's event page publishes three times: the ticket office at 7:45 a.m., the North and West gates at 9:00 a.m., and the first performance at 9:30 a.m. The listing runs to 11:59 p.m.
The venue calls this the 53rd year of the finals and counts 42 Indiana high school marching bands in the field. It states the finals have been held at the stadium every year since it opened. The address is 500 S. Capitol Avenue.
Bands of America Grand Nationals take the same building from 12 to 14 November. The venue's Grand National Championship page publishes its own clock: South Parking Lot at 6:00 a.m., ticket office at 6:45 a.m., East Gate at 7:00 a.m., and competition at 7:00 a.m. Five days separate the two openings.
The venue's November event feed carries five dates. ISSMA takes 7 November. The Colts play the Dallas Cowboys on 8 November with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff. Grand Nationals run 12 to 14 November. The Colts play the Miami Dolphins on 15 November and the New York Giants on 29 November.
Thirty Dollars at the Finals, Thirteen Before
ISSMA's season release prices State Finals admission at $30.00 for adults and $25.00 for students and preschoolers. Admission at the regional and semi-state rounds is $13.00 for adults and $7.00 for students and preschoolers. Children under 3 enter free at every round.
The venue page adds two conditions. All ticketing is mobile, and the stadium is a cashless facility. Children under 3 carried in arms enter free.
No performance schedule for the finals is published. The venue page sends the band running order to issma.net. ISSMA's results block reads "Coming Soon" for every round, the Open Class State Finals included. Its marching band page rows the finals as Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, B, C, D and A.
The Lodging List Holds No Rate
The stadium's Hotels and Lodging link resolves to Visit Indy's reservation platform under the heading Lucas Oil Stadium Hotels. The page carries one instruction for a booking: book here or call 800-350-6181.
The page's own property array, read on 25 September 2026, returns 64 hotels. Every one is in Indianapolis. Distances run from 0.03 miles to 9.97 miles. Twenty-one properties sit within 0.62 miles of the stadium, 31 sit within a mile, and 29 sit at five miles or more. The nearest is the Holiday Inn Indianapolis Downtown by IHG at 0.03 miles.
Every record carries a null rate. Each card prints "PLEASE ENTER DATES TO SEE RATES" in place of a price, and each distance string carries the note that actual driving distance may vary.
ISSMA publishes no lodging programme of its own. Its marching band page carries no mention of hotels, lodging or housing.

The venue's facility guide, dated April 2026, puts every CIB-owned lot under Denison Parking, including 1,500 on-site surface spaces at the stadium.
