One Hall, One Friday, 20,000 Attenders
The Monumental Health and Fitness Expo takes Exhibit Hall A-B at the Indiana Convention Center on 6 November 2026. The venue's event calendar carries the booking with a forecast attendance of 20,000.
The expo is the packet pickup for the CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon. The organiser publishes two collection windows: Thursday 5 November, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Friday 6 November, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
General registration for all in-person distances is sold out. Limited charity entries remain. The organiser publishes no participant count.
The Race Clock That Bounds the Weekend
Gear check opens at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday 7 November at Washington Street and West Street. The half marathon and the full marathon start at 8:00 a.m. The 5K starts at 8:40 a.m. The course closes at 3:30 p.m.
The gear check bag is issued at the expo. The organiser requires every participant to use the official clear bag. That rule ties the Friday floor to the Saturday start line.
The Crowds the Venue Calendar Puts Around It
The venue's calendar lists eight bookings between 25 October and 30 November 2026. The National Science Teaching Assn Fall Convention runs 4 to 7 November at a forecast 4,000, and it shares its last three days with the expo.
Four more bookings follow inside the fortnight. The Midwest Healthcare Engineering Conference & Trade Show runs 8 to 10 November at 600. The IU Health Leadership Development Institute runs 10 November at 2,200. The Percussive Arts Society International Convention runs 11 to 14 November at 5,200. The ASHA Annual Convention runs 19 to 21 November at 13,500.
The expo's 20,000 is the largest forecast on the November calendar.
Construction on the Venue's East Side
Construction runs through race weekend. The venue's expansion project broke ground in summer 2023 and opens in December 2026. The work covers the sixth expansion of the Center and the new Signia by Hilton Indianapolis, sited just east of the Convention Center.
The project page counts 2,500 construction jobs, 400 hotel jobs and up to $232 million in economic impact from new conventions the expansion allows. The 803-room Signia carries 90,000 square feet of meeting space, a 50,455-square-foot Grand Ballroom, a 15,668-square-foot Junior Ballroom and a 9,000-square-foot Signature Ballroom.
The Signia connects to the Center's south campus and to Lucas Oil Stadium by climate-controlled skywalk. That link opens with the hotel.
What the Week Does to the Room Calendar
The block policy publishes four dates that press on the week. The organiser names 29 September as the deadline to assign guest occupant names to rooms held under one name. It names 8 October as the deadline to cancel without penalty, with a $25 fee per reservation cancelled after that date.
New reservations and added nights run 5 October to 16 October, with the date varying by hotel and subject to availability. Modifications through the Visit Indy Housing Bureau close 22 October. After 22 October the guest contacts the hotel directly. Reservations cancelled or marked no-show after 22 October are charged by the hotel.
The block site is Passkey-hosted. It serves an attendee-type dropdown and needs no access code.
Two counts frame the floor. The venue's footer gives 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis, of which 4,700 connect to the Convention Center by skywalk. The skywalk page gives its lock-down rule of thumb at approximately 11:00 p.m. and re-opening at approximately 6:00 a.m., and states the window is event-dependent.
