The 2026 CNO Financial Indianapolis Monumental Marathon books its rooms through a Passkey block run with the Visit Indy Housing Bureau. The organizer's Hotel Block page sends a booker to the booking site with one instruction: select Attendee in the dropdown. No access code is required.
The roster behind that dropdown carries 14 properties. Each record holds an address, a phone number, a distance to the event, a tax policy, an inventory window and a reservation access date. This desk read the roster on 25 September 2026.
The distances
Two properties tie at 0.06 miles: Embassy Suites Indianapolis Downtown at 110 West Washington Street and the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis at One South Capitol Avenue. The Westin Indianapolis at 241 West Washington Street reads 0.09. Hilton Indianapolis Hotel and Suites at 120 West Market Street reads 0.24.
Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown at 105 South Meridian Street reads 0.31. Omni Severin Hotel at 40 West Jackson Place reads 0.32. Hilton Garden Inn Downtown at 10 East Market Street and Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre at 31 West Ohio Street share 0.35. Five nights, one wider record
Thirteen records publish an inventory window of 5 to 9 November. The Westin Indianapolis alone opens on 3 November.
Every record carries a hotel close date of 22 October 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Reservation access opens property by property: 6 October at Hilton Indianapolis and The Westin, 7 October at Crowne Plaza Union Station and Hampton Inn, 8 October at Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites, 9 October at Hyatt Place and Omni Severin, 10 October at the Hyatt Regency, 13 October at Hilton Garden Inn, 16 October at Sheraton, 17 October at Embassy Suites and TownePlace Suites, and 23 October at CozySuites Block 20. The span between the first access date and the last is 17 days.
Every quoted rate excludes 17 percent
All 14 records state a 17 percent tax, and none of them includes tax in the quoted rate. Four records add a $1 per night district fee. Embassy Suites names a Downtown Destination Fee of $1.00 per night with tax applied. Hilton Indianapolis names a $1 EED fee plus tax. Hyatt Place names an Economic Enhancement District fee that is also taxable. The Hyatt Regency names a Downtown District Fee of $1 plus tax per night. Crowne Plaza Union Station carries a City and District Fee line with no figure attached.
The tax is material at both ends of the ladder the site displays. Seventeen percent on the $173 opening line adds $29.41. On the $251 top line it adds $42.67.
One record carries its own fee schedule
CozySuites Block 20 adds a one-time cleaning fee of $90 for a studio or one-bedroom apartment and $110 for a two-bedroom apartment. It adds either a non-refundable $39.99 damage waiver or a $200 refundable deposit. Its own marketing message states that the property charges full payment from 23 October 2026 and that each unit carries one complimentary parking space.
Two records require a Friday and a Saturday
TownePlace Suites Indianapolis Downtown and CozySuites Block 20 publish the same stay rule: "Required 2 night minimum stay of Friday and Saturday." The other twelve records publish no minimum stay.
What a dated search returns
A search on the booking site on 25 September 2026 for 7 to 8 November, the race Saturday night, returned nine of the 14 properties at rates from $173 to $251. Searches for 6 to 7 November, 6 to 8 November and 5 to 7 November each returned one property. Searches for 5 to 8 November, 5 to 9 November and 3 to 9 November returned no property.
The organizer's Hotel Block page carries the explanation for an empty result. It states that single or non-sequential nights may remain, and it directs the guest to the hotel for those.
The booking ceiling
The booking site caps a group request at five rooms under one name, and the Attendee type carries a five-room and six-guest ceiling. Online reservations close on 16 October 2026, subject to availability.
