Naples Grande Beach Resort joins Signia Hilton
Naples Grande Beach Resort will join the Signia Hilton portfolio as Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort. Hilton announced the signing in a release dated 10 September 2026. Hotel Dive reported the move on 14 September 2026.
The resort debuts under the Signia name in January 2027.
474 rooms, 50 of them villas
The resort holds 474 rooms, including 50 villas. Florida YIMBY places the property on 23 acres with three pools, tennis facilities, a spa and approximately 83,000 square feet of event space.
The address is 475 Seagate Drive, Naples.
The brand's first Gulf Coast hotel
The property becomes Signia Hilton's first hotel on Florida's Gulf Coast. It will be the brand's third in the state, joining Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek and Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort. Hilton's Florida estate runs to more than 540 hotels.
The renovation under way
Hilton describes the work as the most significant transformation in the property's nearly four-decade history. The programme covers guest rooms, suites and villas, the arrival area and lobby, dining venues, spa and wellness facilities, pool areas and event spaces.
The resort holds three miles of Gulf Coast beach, with the mangrove landscape of Clam Pass on that frontage.
Closed to overnight guests since April
Naples Grande shut its overnight accommodations on 1 April 2026 and stays shut through 31 December 2026. The property states that guest rooms, meeting spaces and core resort facilities are closed for that window. Guests holding bookings inside the closure are contacted directly with rebooking or cancellation options, and the property directs bookings made through a third party back to that channel.
What stays open
Rhode's End Restaurant, Clam Pass Beach and Tram Services, and the Naples Tennis Academy all remain open through the work, on the property's own renovation page.
The booking window
The property accepts reservations for arrivals from 1 January 2027, including group bookings.
Fitzgerald on the signing
Meghan Fitzgerald, global brand leader for Signia Hilton, said Naples is one of Florida's most coveted coastal destinations and that the resort provides an exceptional backdrop for the hallmarks of the Signia Hilton experience.
"We're looking forward to welcoming Naples Grande Beach Resort into the Signia Hilton portfolio, marking an exciting step in our strong brand growth and continued expansion into premier resort destinations," she said.
Sims on the return
Gary Sims, managing director of Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort, said guests have chosen the property for generations for its setting, its amenities and its sense of hospitality.
He said the property is building on that legacy with a reimagined resort. He said it looks forward to welcoming returning guests and introducing new travellers to it.
The Signia record
Signia launched in 2019 as a meetings-and-events-focused brand. The brand reached Texas with the opening of the 496-room Signia by Hilton La Cantera Resort & Spa. Hotel Dive attributes to Hilton chief executive officer Chris Nassetta, speaking on the group's second-quarter 2026 earnings call, a statement that the quarter ranked among the group's best for signings.
What the announcement does not give
Florida YIMBY reports that the announcement named no architect, general contractor or renovation cost. The property publishes no reopening date beyond January 2027. Neither Hilton nor the property has published a project budget.
