The National Science Teaching Association fall convention runs 4 to 7 November 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis. Rooms move through IMN Solutions at 13 published rates, with an 11 October cut-off and a warning on third-party bookers.

One Channel, One Cut-Off

NSTA INDY26 runs 4 to 7 November 2026 at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Ave, Indianapolis. The venue publisher forecasts 4,000 attendees.

NSTA routes its rooms through one channel. IMN Solutions is the official housing provider. Reservations are taken first-come, first-served and space-available. The organiser states that all reservations must be received by 11 October 2026 to guarantee availability and conference rates. After that date, reservations are made on availability and hotels may charge higher rates. Housing agents answer 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST on weekdays at (571) 579-3867.

The organiser also states that it will not provide shuttle service between the conference hotels and the convention center.

The Thirteen Published Rates

The housing page carries a 13-row rate table. The Indianapolis Marriott Downtown holds the headquarters hotel designation at $269. The JW Marriott is $279 and the Hyatt Regency is $259. The Westin is $254. The Embassy Suites is $269. Three hotels sit at $249: the Courtyard By Marriott, the SpringHill Suites and the Omni Severin. The Fairfield Inn and Suites is $239. What the Organiser Says About Third-Party Bookers

NSTA's housing page carries its own warning. Attendees and exhibitors may receive unsolicited offers from unauthorized third-party housing companies not affiliated with NSTA. NSTA states it strongly advises against booking with them, and it asks anyone contacted to forward the information to nstahousing@imnsolutions.com.

The page states that unauthorized companies often include hidden fees, charge a card in full at booking, and may fail to honor a reservation. The page states that only NSTA Housing guarantees the best rates and secure transactions for Indianapolis hotel bookings.

Nine of Thirteen Hotels Sit on the Skywalk

The Visit Indy map the housing page links under View Map gives each of the 13 hotels a street address and a connection note. Nine carry Connected to convention center: the Marriott Downtown at 350 W. Maryland St., the JW Marriott at 10 S. West St., the Courtyard at 601 W. Washington St., the Fairfield at 501 W. Washington St., the SpringHill Suites at 601 W. The map labels the rate table's Fairfield Inn and Suites as Fairfield by Marriott, at the same 501 W. Washington St. address.

What One 4,000-Person Forecast Asks of a Property

A 4,000 forecast is 6.15 times the headquarters hotel's 650 rooms. It is 3.98 times the JW Marriott's 1,005 rooms.

The venue footer counts 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis and 4,700 of them connected to the Convention Center by skywalk. The forecast equals 56.3 percent of the downtown count and 85.1 percent of the skywalk-connected count.

Visit Indy's connected-hotels page publishes inventory for the hotels in its convention package. The Indy Marriott carries 650 sleeping rooms and 42,000 square feet of meeting space. The JW Marriott carries 1,005 rooms and 104,482 square feet. The Westin carries 575 rooms and 42,500 square feet. The Hyatt Regency carries 499 rooms and 35,000 square feet. The Embassy Suites carries 360 rooms and 24,200 square feet.

The Supply Behind the Block

The Signia by Hilton Indianapolis sits outside the 13-row rate table. The venue's news index carries an item dated 21 April 2026 under the headline Signia by Hilton Indianapolis Now Accepting Reservations for February 2027.

Two published figures cover the same hotel. The venue's expansion page gives 803 rooms, a December 2026 target, 90,000 square feet of meeting space and a 50,455-square-foot Grand Ballroom, with a skybridge connection to the convention center. Newmark's 4Q 2025 Midwest report lists Signia Hilton Indianapolis at 814 rooms in a Q4 2026 slot developed by Kite Realty Group Trust. At 814 rooms it adds 11.5 percent to the venue footer's 7,100-room downtown count.

The wider pipeline, per Bradford Allen citing mid-year data, counts more than 1,500 rooms under construction, 3,402 in final planning and 3,220 proposed.

The Market Behind the Block

A Downtown Indy Alliance snapshot citing CoStar and STR, republished by Bradford Allen on 19 March 2026, puts downtown occupancy at 64.7 percent against a stated U.S. average of 62.4 percent, ADR at $209.11 up 12 percent year over year, and RevPAR at $135.20 up 13 percent, on 8.1 million room nights of demand in the 12 months to mid-2025.

Newmark's 4Q 2025 Midwest report, on Kalibri Labs data, gives the Indianapolis metro a year-to-date RevPAR change of minus 4.8 percent against minus 0.7 percent for the Midwest and minus 1.2 percent for the top 104 U.S. markets, and a RevPAR index of 0.914. The block rates apply to the conference window. The alliance snapshot measures the period its own report covers.
