ORA Hospitality Launches a Brand With No Name
ORA Hospitality announced an ultra-luxury hospitality and lifestyle brand in October 2026. The company has not revealed the brand name. The first property opens on Mykonos in May 2027.
The announcement carries a London dateline. ORA Hospitality is the hospitality arm of ORA Developers, the real estate group Naguib Sawiris founded in 2016. Sawiris is chairman and chief executive of the group.
A EUR 100 Million Resort Above Kalo Livadi Bay
The debut resort sits on a hillside above Kalo Livadi Bay. The investment is EUR 100 million. ORA Hospitality describes the site as a largely undeveloped stretch of coastline with views across the Aegean Sea.
The property holds 93 keys: 60 rooms, 28 suites and five villas. The units are arranged village-style. Each carries sea views and private outdoor space.
ORA Hospitality has advertised a Season 2027 guest services manager post for the Mykonos site. That advert counts 88 rooms and suites alongside the five villas, which matches the release split. Rockwell Group is the designer.
The programme lists four restaurants and bars, event space for 200 guests and a 900-square-metre wellness centre. The wellness centre covers skincare, recovery, movement and wellbeing.
Sawiris Guides the Design
Sawiris guides the design and the concept. The release states he has returned to Mykonos with his family for decades. For the resort he curated playlists and sourced artwork from local artists.
“My connection to Mykonos is personal, rooted in decades of special memories, and I wanted to create a resort that leaves a positive mark on the island,” Sawiris said. “I brought my own vision of hospitality to life. I wanted to create a brand that makes people feel true happiness.”
A Quieter Mykonos
The company states its goal as showing the quieter side of the island. The resort is designed for families and different generations.
The brand promises art, architecture, music, wellness and local gastronomy in every property, with partnerships across wellness, dining and lifestyle. ORA Hospitality operates Silversands Grenada and Silversands Beach House. The company says expansion will stay selective.
Vincenzo Falcone became chief executive of ORA Hospitality on 2 April 2026. He spent seven years at Bvlgari Hotels and Resorts before the appointment.
Reservations Open in January 2027
Reservations open in January 2027, ahead of the May 2027 launch. The restaurant names, the chefs and the brand name remain undisclosed.
Three other luxury openings sit in the same window on the island. Four Seasons Hotel Mykonos opened above Kalo Livadi Bay in July 2026 with 94 keys. Fouquet’s Mykonos opened on 27 June 2026 with 64 keys.
