Pivot has taken the management contract at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville. The property runs 246 guest rooms at 1808 West End Avenue. A joint venture led by The Georgetown Company owns it and made the appointment.
Davidson Hospitality Group runs Pivot as its lifestyle operating vertical. Davidson announced the deal on Thursday 17 September 2026, and hotelbusiness.com carried it the same day under its management category.
Three totals for one ballroom
The announcement states 15,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. The property's meetings page itemises five venues: the Lyric Ballroom at 7,000 square feet, Analog at 5,000, the Edison Room at 2,400, the McGavock Room at 621 and the Hutton Boardroom at 486. Those five listings total 15,507 square feet. The hotel's homepage and its own relaunch release read more than 20,000 square feet.
Each figure sits on a page the property or its operator published. No page reconciles the three.
What the operator inherits
The 246 rooms break down as 51 one-bedroom suites, two penthouses and the Hutton Suite. The suite runs over 3,000 square feet across two storeys with three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, a full kitchen and a private entrance. The property bills it as the largest suite in Nashville.
The venue list runs to Evelyn's, a 5,000-square-foot music venue at Analog, and the Writers Studios with two recording suites. A renovation programme completed in March 2026 cost $40 million and covered the guest rooms, the lobby, the ballroom and meeting space, a spa and fitness offering and the restaurant.
The hotel joined Marriott's Tribute Portfolio and Marriott Bonvoy on 27 May 2026, according to its own announcement. The operator now holds a Marriott collection brand alongside the property's own booking engine.
The two quotes
Michael Fishbin, managing director and head of hospitality at The Georgetown Company, called the Hutton the city's original boutique hotel and said his team looks forward to working with Pivot to propel performance.
Nick Gregory, executive vice president of operations at Pivot, said the operator will use the hotel's new identity, reimagined spaces, intimate dining and wellness offerings. He named two goals: Southern hospitality and revenue growth across all channels.
What the announcement leaves out
The release carries no purchase price, no management fee, no contract term and no performance target. The other partners in the Georgetown joint venture go unnamed.
