Pivot Takes the Hutton Hotel Contract in Nashville

Pivot, the lifestyle vertical of Davidson Hospitality Group, takes the management contract at the 246-room Hutton Hotel in Nashville, a Tribute Portfolio by Marriott hotel.

Pivot has taken the management contract at the Hutton Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio by Marriott hotel with 246 guestrooms in Nashville. A joint venture led by The Georgetown Company made the selection. The release carries an Atlanta dateline and a September 17, 2026 date.

Pivot runs as the lifestyle operating vertical of Davidson Hospitality Group. First Hospitality held the contract from the 2022 acquisition until this selection.

No terms published

The release names no contract term, no management fee and no effective date for the handover. It names the joint venture as led by The Georgetown Company and lists no other party to it.

The building

The hotel sits at 1808 West End Ave. The guestrooms were renovated inside a $40 million programme. Evelyn's runs as the dining room, Analog as a 5,000 square-foot music venue, and the Writers Studios as two recording suites. The release presents The Spa at Hutton Hotel, a 3,200 square-foot spa and fitness facility, as the hotel's newest debut.

The release lists 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The hotel's own website states more than 20,000 square feet.

The spa page on the hotel's own website reads "Arriving Summer 2026" and "Coming Soon" at this read. It describes private treatment rooms, a hair salon and a nail studio.

Owner and operator on the record

Michael Fishbin, managing director and head of hospitality at The Georgetown Company, called the Hutton the city's original boutique hotel. "Based on its stellar reputation of operational excellence and delivering truly differentiated guest experiences, our team is looking forward to collaborating with the Pivot team to propel performance and reaffirm the property's place at the intersection of music, design, and culture," Fishbin said.

Nick Gregory, executive vice president of operations at Pivot, tied the mandate to the hotel's new identity. "We are excited to leverage the hotel's new identity, reimagined spaces, intimate dining, and wellness offerings to deliver exceptional Southern hospitality and optimize revenue growth across all channels of the Hutton Hotel," Gregory said.

The record behind the handover

The Georgetown Company announced its purchase of the Hutton on January 31, 2022. The all-cash deal covered a then 250-key property and opened a $1 billion hospitality investment platform the company launched with First Hospitality.

The hotel announced its Tribute Portfolio affiliation and its Marriott Bonvoy participation on May 29, 2026. The affiliation followed a relaunch that added Mimi's Bar to the lobby and renovated the ballroom, the meeting space and the dining concept at Evelyn's.

The room count reads 250 keys at acquisition and 246 rooms in the current release.
