The 24th SF Sketchfest runs 18 days, from Thursday 14 January to Sunday 31 January 2027, across San Francisco rooms. The organiser's partner page places two Official Hotel Partners in Japantown and publishes one room count between them. The rate programme on that page belongs to the 2026 cycle.
The house that carries the count
Hotel Kabuki, a JdV by Hyatt hotel, is the partner with the published count. The organiser's page gives it 225 rooms and suites in Japantown, a reservation line at 415-922-3200 and the instruction to ask for SF Sketchfest. The network's hotel directory lists the property at 1625 Post Street.
The page sells the amenities inside one paragraph. The Bar specialises in Japanese whisky, cocktails and beer, and Nari serves California-inspired Thai cuisine. A 4,000-square-foot fitness center is accessible 24/7, and an open-air meditation garden offers a space to unwind.
One sentence carries the location case: the property sits "within walking distance to the Fillmore District and Pacific Heights".
Eighteen days on 225 rooms
The run holds 18 festival days, from Thursday 14 January to Sunday 31 January. A guest who takes the night of every one of them checks in on the Thursday and checks out on Monday 1 February, which is 18 nights. A full house across those nights is 225 rooms times 18, or 4,050 room nights.
The prior cycle's published window ran 15 January to 1 February 2026, which is 17 nights over the same 18-day shape. The 2027 start falls 364 days after the 2026 start, and the 2027 close falls 364 days after the 2026 close. The weekday boundaries repeat: Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 January, Monday 18 to Sunday 24 January, and Monday 25 January to Monday 1 February.
Three windows and the codes they carry
The prior cycle's rate programme split into three dated windows: Week 1 (Jan 15-18), Week 2 (Jan 19-25) and Week 3 (Jan 26-Feb 2). Each label is its own link to a Hyatt group-booking page under property code SFOJD.
The three links carry two code sets. The href values read G-SFS6, G-SFS7 and G-SFS5. The title attributes on the same three anchors read G-DU2M, G-WS1O and G-TENJ.
A fourth code for the same property sits on the festival's sponsors page. That anchor carries the Hotel Kabuki logo and a Hyatt URL with corp_id 47122, and it carries no anchor text.
The nights the windows leave open
Read as arrival and departure pairs, the three windows cover 3, 6 and 7 nights, 16 in all, against a published stay span of 17 nights. Two nights inside that span sit in no window at all: Sunday 18 January 2026 and Sunday 25 January 2026. Read as stay nights, the three labels total 19. The page carries both readings.
The second partner and its corporate ID
Hotel Enso, a Kimpton hotel, carries the same Official Hotel Partner line on the same page. Its rate route is a corporate ID, 787113000, and the booking link resolves to an IHG redirect carrying brandCode KI and hotelCode SFOBC.
The property's own site gives the address as 1800 Sutter St, San Francisco, CA 94115. It publishes a Groups and Room Blocks menu, a Corporate ID field inside its rate widget, a hotel line at 415-921-4000 and a reservations line at 800-994-6103. It also states that pets stay at no additional fee.
The two partners stand 0.14 miles apart on a straight line.
The demand in the same month
Engine puts the San Francisco par rate at $165 across 3.1 million public observations from May 2024 to April 2026, with January at $166 and December at $129. Par rates are the cheapest publicly available price at the time of each search, and the basis excludes negotiated and booked rates.
At the January line, the 225-room house prices at $37,350 for one night and $672,300 across the 18 nights, at full occupancy. AHLA and Oxford Economics put citywide visitor spending at about $900 per occupied room night in San Francisco in a release dated 25 June 2026, which is $202,500 a night and $3,645,000 across the same 18 nights at the same full house.
Moscone Center's own event feed lists three January 2027 records: Winter FancyFaire on 17 to 19 January, the ASCO GI Cancers Symposium on 21 to 23 January and SPIE Photonics West on 30 January to 4 February. No record in the feed covers the festival's 18 days.
What is still unpublished
The 2027 rate, a room block, a cut-off date and a minimum stay are absent from the partner page. The page is stamped 10 November 2025, and its rate line still reads for the 15 January to 1 February 2026 window. Hyatt's site refuses a scripted fetch, so the 225-room figure rests on the organiser's page.
