Residence Inn by Marriott Breckenridge completed a property-wide renovation, the hotel said in a release dated September 17, 2026. The work covers every suite, the lobby, the common areas, the dining spaces and the areas around the outdoor pool and hot tub. Hotel News Resource filed the item as a press release.
The hotel is an all-suite property at 600 South Ridge Street in downtown Breckenridge. Urgo Hotels & Resorts and Triumph Development opened it in December 2016 with 129 rooms. The release describes a five-minute walk to Breckenridge Ski Resort and the Breckenridge Riverwalk Center, with Main Street shopping and dining, Blue River Plaza, Carter Park and year-round hiking and biking trails nearby. A straight-line measurement taken from OpenStreetMap coordinates puts the Riverwalk Center about 0.36 miles from the address.
What Changed
The release lists refreshed furnishings, updated finishes and a modern residential-style design in every suite. Each suite carries a fully equipped kitchen and separate living and sleeping areas, and the release names longer stays, families and groups as the guests those layouts suit.
The lobby and common areas returned with updated furnishings, finishes and gathering areas. The dining areas were refreshed, and the same rooms hold guests through the day.
Base Camp Lounge serves light dining from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and specialty cocktails nightly. The areas around the outdoor pool and hot tub were modernised, and the release states both are available year-round.
Stephen Policare, general manager, dated the completion to this summer. "We are excited to welcome guests to a completely refreshed property following the completion of our renovation this summer," he said. "From our suites and common areas to our dining spaces, the transformation was designed to create an even more comfortable and inviting home base for experiencing everything Breckenridge has to offer."
What the Release Leaves Out
The release carries no suite count, no project cost, no designer and no contractor. It gives no completion date beyond the general manager's reference to this summer, and its headline reads "Unveils Renovation" while the quote inside dates the finish to this summer.
