Thirty-nine nights on 13 acres
The Miami-Dade County Fair and Exposition grounds carry a nightly tenant from 24 September to 1 November 2026. Sounds of Screams sits on the Fair Expo Center calendar under Currently Happening as a new event, with the venue field reading Grounds.
The park prints its gate on every page of its site: 7pm to Midnight, at the Youth Fair next to FIU, Fair Expo Center. Its own home page bills 13 Acres of Fear. The calendar gives the run 39 nights. Six of those nights fall on a Friday and six on a Saturday.
The site underneath carries a different business for the rest of the year. Fair Expo Center markets 86 acres of flexibility, a booking range from a small seminar for 50 to a festival with 50,000 visitors, and more than 70 events a year. The same page describes the Youth Fair as a 21-day run every spring.
The next fair carries dated terms. The site header reads March 18-April 11, 2027 except March 29-30 & April 5-6. That window gives 21 fair days inside a 25-day span.
Five gates, and a sentence that limits them
The Getting Here page lists five vehicle entrances: SW 112th Ave and Coral Way, SW 114th Ave and Coral Way, SW 22nd St and 117th Ave, SW 21st St and 117th Ave, and SW 107 Ave and SW 17 St. It asks rideshare drivers to enter at Coral Way and 112th Avenue and puts handicap drop-off in front of the main entrance. It links a map of The Fair's parking lot.
A caveat follows that list. The entrances and the drop-off points are only applicable for the annual Youth Fair and may not apply to Fair Expo Center events throughout the year.
The page therefore describes the grounds in fair mode. The park states its gate hours and no parking fee, no lot count and no shuttle on its home page or in its ticket store.
The block either side is a campus
The park's banner answers the location question in two words: next to FIU. OpenStreetMap records the neighbouring structures with coordinates. Blue Parking Garage sits 0.42 km from the fairgrounds centroid, Gold Parking Garage 0.53 km, Pitbull Stadium 0.77 km and University Apartments 0.86 km. Each figure is a straight-line distance from 25.7503, -80.3706.
Lodging inside that radius is close to absent. OpenStreetMap carries two lodging elements within 3 km, one of them named: Comfort Suites Miami Kendall at 3901 Southwest 117th Avenue, 2.25 km from the grounds. The block either side of the grounds is campus land.
Miami International Airport sits 9.8 km away on the same straight-line basis.
Staffing and noise carry no published figure
A property watch wants three numbers from a nightly tenant: vehicles per night, guards per shift, and the noise term the site operates under. None of the three appears on any page this desk read.
The park publishes no attendance figure, no capacity and no per-night count. The venue's calendar entry carries a date, a venue field and a link. It carries no forecast, no hall allocation and no attendance estimate.
The conditions of entry hold the operational detail that does exist. One of the five houses, SOS HOUSE, is an 18+ attraction featuring graphic, disturbing and mature themes. Every page of the site carries a medical warning that names strobe lights, theatrical fog, loud noise and claustrophobic spaces, and advises against entry for guests with heart conditions, epilepsy, respiratory issues, physical injuries or pregnancy.
Those lines shape work at the door. They do not size it. Fair Expo Center guest relations lists Sira Camilo as director, on the fairgrounds line (305) 223-7060. The park's guest services number is 305 SCREAMS.
Two hall bookings share the closing weekend
The venue calendar puts two hall bookings inside the closing window. Blood Sugar, a Halloween event benefiting the Christopher Columbus High School Diabetes Club, runs in Edwards Hall on 30 October from 8 PM to Midnight. Collect & Cafecito Con runs in Arnold Hall from 31 October to 1 November.
On 30 October the park shares the grounds with a hall booking that ends at the same hour. On 31 October and 1 November the grounds carry the park and a second hall booking through the closing bell. The venue publishes no allocation between them.
What the calendar can settle
The site's year runs more than 70 events beside a 21-day fair. This tenancy runs 39 consecutive nights in the evening hours and hands the grounds back on 1 November.
The published record dates the run, names the gates and sets the 2027 fair. It leaves the operating figures open. The 2027 fair dates are already posted for 18 March to 11 April.
