Valencia Collection renames itself for the second time since 2023

Valencia Hotel Collection has dropped Hotel from its corporate name and moved to valenciacollection.com, the Houston operator's second rename since November 2023. The eight properties keep their own names.

Valencia Collection Takes a Second Name

Valencia Collection has renamed itself. The Houston operator of eight independent hotels in Texas and California has dropped the word Hotel from its corporate title.

Hospitality Net carried the company’s announcement on 6 October 2026. The announcement sets out a new name, a new emblem, an expanded colour palette and a co-branding system built to connect the hotels.

The Old Addresses Point at the New Ones

The switch is live on the company’s own web estate. valenciahotelcollection.com returns a permanent redirect to valenciacollection.com. The new site serves the page title Home - Valencia Collection, sets its social preview name to Valencia Collection, and prints a 2026 copyright line under the name Valencia Collection. The line that runs across the new pages reads Every place is a story.

A second redirect runs at ownership level. valenciahotelgroup.com now points to valenciadevelopment.com, and the Valencia Development site carries the line Valencia Development is the Powerhouse behind Valencia Collection.

That site publishes the group’s portfolio figures: 2,995 keys developed and managed, 1,602 keys and $519 million in active assets under management, and a scope line of more than 17 properties across Texas and California, and soon Arizona.

Every Property Keeps Its Name

The collection says each hotel keeps its established name and its own identity. The portfolio reads Hotel Valencia Riverwalk in San Antonio, Hotel Valencia Santana Row in San Jose, Lone Star Court in Austin, Texican Court in Irving, Cotton Court in Lubbock, Cavalry Court and The George in College Station, and Caravan Court in Arlington. Seven of the eight sit in Texas and one in California, and Caravan Court is the newest of them.

The Company Renamed Once Before

The company’s own journal dates an earlier rename to 16 November 2023, in a post marking twenty years as an independent boutique hotel operator. That post states the change in the founder’s own words and uses the older corporate name throughout. It counts seven hotels in the portfolio at the time and names Cotton Court in Lubbock as the newest addition.

The post names Doyle Graham, Jr. as founder, president and chief executive.

What the Announcement Leaves Out

The company’s own pages carry no completion date for the co-branding rollout across the eight hotels. The development arm names Arizona as a future market with no site, no room count and no date attached.
