The Booking
Victory Athletics Spirit holds Exhibit Hall A at the Indiana Convention Center on Saturday, January 9, 2027. The venue's event page carries the date, the hall and a forecast attendance of 450.
The producer's own event page for the Checkered Flag Championship carries the date and the line "More Information Coming Soon!". It publishes no session grid, no doors time and no division order.
The Producer
Victory Athletics Spirit describes itself as an independent event producer. Its policy page reads: "PARTICIPATING TEAMS DO NOT NEED TO BE SANCTIONED BY A GOVERNING BODY OR AFFILIATED WITH A NATIONAL CHEER ORGANIZATION."
Registration runs through regchamp.com, the producer's registration system. The policy page requires each gym to have every athlete sign the waiver and minor release form and turn it in for each competition. It requires a background check for adults aged 18 and over to reach the floor and the warm-up area, and it sets the minimum team size at five members for cheer and four for dance.
The Coaches' Fee Clock
A $125 late fee applies from the tenth day before the event while an invoice stands unpaid. A second $125 applies when payment lands on the Friday or Saturday before the event, on the day before, or on the day of the event. Coaches beyond the two free ones cost $25 each. A $100 change fee applies to division, level or score sheet changes requested after the first preliminary schedule goes out eight days prior.
For a January 9 date, the tenth day prior falls on December 30, 2026 and the preliminary schedule release falls on January 1, 2027.
The Month Around the Date
The venue's calendar carries eight events in January 2027. Victory Athletics Spirit and the Whitetail Film Tour share January 9. The Youth Rally and Mass Service holds January 20 at a 1,500 forecast.
The Central Zone Invitational runs January 23 and 24 at 20,000. The Dot Foods national business meeting runs January 27 to 29 at 2,000. Circle of Stars Gymnastics Invitational runs January 29 to 31 at 5,000, the RxHealing sales convention shares those three dates at 2,000, and The Indianapolis Royal Weekend holds January 31 at 1,250.
The venue's calendar carries a forecast attendance on every January row. Victory Athletics Spirit sits at the bottom of the month by that measure.
Scale Against the Downtown Supply
The venue counts 7,100 hotel rooms in downtown Indianapolis and 4,700 of them connected to the Convention Center by skywalks. A forecast of 450 equals 6.3 percent of the downtown room count and 9.6 percent of the connected count.
Exhibit Hall A carries 44,400 square feet at a 35-foot ceiling. The venue's Facility Guide gives the hall 4,300 theatre seats, 2,370 banquet seats and 211 ten-foot booths.
The Supply Programme Behind the Date
The venue has expanded five times since its 1972 opening, and expansion number six is under construction. The venue's expansion page states that the project will include the largest ballroom in the state and enough space to host two citywide conventions at one time.
Signia by Hilton Indianapolis is the hotel attached to that programme. The venue's news item of April 21, 2026 reports the hotel taking reservations for stays from February 1, 2027. The item gives the hotel 800 rooms, calls it the city's tallest hotel and the Convention Center's newest headquarters hotel, and places it on the Georgia Street pedestrian promenade in the Wholesale District with direct skywalk access to the Center. It names seven dining experiences, a premium wellness and fitness center and Indiana's largest ballroom, records City of Indianapolis ownership with operations led by the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, and notes the brand's first property in the Midwest and in Indiana.
The venue's expansion page gives the same building 803 rooms and a December 2026 target. It states 90,000 square feet of hotel meeting space, a 50,455-square-foot Grand Ballroom, a 15,668-square-foot Junior Ballroom, a 9,000-square-foot Signature Ballroom and seventy suites of 450 to 1,900 square feet. The page projects 2,500 construction jobs, 400 new hotel jobs, almost $300 million in annual economic impact from retained cornerstone conventions, up to $232 million from new conventions and $69.3 million in new business from the hotel's sales teams.
Visit Indy counts the connected package at twelve hotels and 5,200 rooms once the Signia opens. The venue's own count is 4,700 connected rooms. The bureau states that more than 10,000 rooms will sit within walking distance of the Center once the downtown pipeline is built out.
What the Date Holds
The producer publishes no room block and no rate for the date, and the venue's event page carries no block either. A hotelier has the date, the 450 forecast, the hall and the supply programme.
