Wyndham launches Dolce Nova as an upper-upscale Dolce extension

Wyndham launched Dolce Nova on 14 September 2026 as an upper-upscale extension of Dolce Hotels & Resorts, the first brand concept to come out of its EMEA team.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts launched Dolce Nova on Monday 14 September 2026. The brand is an upper-upscale extension of Dolce Hotels & Resorts by Wyndham.

Dimitris Manikis, president EMEA at Wyndham, announced the launch at the Annual Hospitality Conference in Manchester.

What Wyndham says the brand is

The company says Dolce Nova “embraces a more intentional way of travelling, encouraging guests to slow down, savour the moment and engage more deeply with the people and places around them”.

Its design, Wyndham says, is “rooted in authenticity, discovery and a strong sense of place and caters to growing demand for experience-led hospitality among both travellers and owners”.

Dolce Hotels and Resorts holds on meetings, events and resort experiences. Dolce Nova centres on connection, wellbeing and what Wyndham calls the simple luxury of time.

The five touchpoints

Wyndham says the brand runs on five signature touchpoints. Arrive & Belong covers welcoming lounges, cafés, bars and restaurants. Restore & Revive covers spa, wellness and fitness. Rest & Retreat covers guestrooms and suites. Pass & Pause covers transitional spaces. Connect & Create covers co-working and social spaces with signature events.

Boutique Hotel News opens that list with the spelling “Docle Nova”. The typographical error stands in the published item. The brand is named Dolce Nova everywhere else in the same copy.

Manikis on why Wyndham built it

Manikis said: “Dolce delivers on a simple idea: that where people come together matters. Over time, we have seen travellers place greater value on something that often feels in short supply: time.”

He added that Dolce Nova is “a natural extension of the Dolce family, bringing its ethos into the upper-upscale lifestyle segment through design and experiences inspired by il dolce far niente and the simple luxury of time well spent”.

The concept came out of Wyndham’s own EMEA team

Skift reported that Dolce Nova is the first brand concept to come out of Wyndham’s EMEA team. Manikis put the company’s record at 20 of its 25 brands acquired.

Manikis told Skift: “Why would we spend a lot of money to buy something when we actually can create an extension of the Dolce brand and introduce it to a new consumer base?”

What Skift adds on size, rates and timing

Skift reports that Dolce Nova targets properties as small as 50 rooms, against the original Dolce footprint of a typical 200 to 400 rooms. It reports five or six signature touchpoints, a franchise-first model and a target average daily rate of roughly 250 to 300 euros. Skift also reports that the first signed property is expected in late 2026 or early 2027.

None of those figures appears in the announcement. They are Skift’s reporting, printed here with that attribution.

Skift names the Middle East, the CIS, covering Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Georgia, and India as the launch priorities. The announcement says that multiple discussions are already under way across EMEA. Wyndham says the concept is designed to support conversions and new-build projects.

The brand runs on Wyndham’s own platform

Wyndham says Dolce Nova will use its global scale, distribution platform, technology and the Wyndham Rewards loyalty programme, which the company puts at more than 126 million enrolled members worldwide.

The brand site DolceNova.com resolves.

The Dolce brand Wyndham bought in 2015

The Caterer reported that Wyndham acquired the Dolce Hotels and Resorts brand in 2015, when Dolce was operating 24 properties across Europe and North America. That outlet puts Wyndham at around 8,400 hotels across 100 countries, and lists 25 hotel brands, naming Super 8, Days Inn, Ramada, Registry Collection and Trademark Collection.

The Caterer headline calls Dolce Nova a new lifestyle hotel brand. Wyndham’s own wording is narrower. Dolce Nova is an extension of Dolce Hotels & Resorts by Wyndham, which holds the portfolio count at 25.

What the announcement does not say

No opening date, no signed property, no room count for any project, no investment figure and no named market for a first hotel. The announcement gives no timetable for the first signing.
