A 28th year in six ballrooms
The Alzheimer's Association Oregon Chapter holds its caregiver conference at the Oregon Convention Center on Tuesday, 10 November. The venue titles the booking the 28th annual conference. The chapter dates its run at "nearly 30 years" and "three decades".
The room set is Portland Ballroom 251-254 and 257-258. Six rooms, one ballroom block, one day.
The account repeats on an annual cycle and the footprint holds the same ballroom block. Portland properties reading the November calendar can plan the week around it.
The clock
The programme runs 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Three organiser sources carry that window: the chapter page, the event flyer, and the registration listing.
One day sets one night. A registrant who travels in for an 8 a.m. start needs Monday, 9 November, in a bed.
Two hundred and fifty free places, and a residency test
The first 250 Oregon family caregivers attend at no cost through Oregon Care Partners. The chapter states the condition in bold: "You must reside in Oregon to receive this rate." The places are first come, first served.
The chapter publishes no fee for the paid places. The registration listing behind the chapter's sign-up link shows an event header, the venue address, the 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. window and a login form. No price appears before a login.
The travelling cohort is the paid cohort. Its size is unpublished.
Nine bookings in November
The venue's November calendar carries nine bookings. The conference holds 10 November alone, with nothing on 9, 11 or 12 November.
6 November brings the 2027 HBA Housing Forecast Breakfast into Portland Ballroom 251-252-253-258. 7 and 8 November bring the Oddities & Curiosities Expo into Halls C-D-E. 13 to 15 November brings Kumoricon into Halls A-A1-B-C-D-E.
Two bookings therefore use the ballroom block inside eight days: the breakfast on 6 November and the conference on 10 November.
The figures no organiser publishes
No page states an attendance figure. The venue forecasts none and the chapter publishes none.
The chapter's "more than 192,000 Oregonians" line counts unpaid caregivers across the state. That is a population figure.
No host hotel and no room block appear on any organiser page for 10 November. A property cannot size this account from the published record. Any rota, rate fence or block ask built on 10 November rests on the programme clock.
The agenda is not out
The chapter page reads "2026 Agenda Coming Soon". No session grid, no breakout times, no luncheon hour.
The chapter names keynote speakers, flexible breakout sessions and a luncheon presentation as parts of the day. Each item sits inside the 8 to 5 window.
What a property desk can act on
Five facts carry the account: the 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. clock, the six-room block, the 28th edition, 250 free places for Oregon residents, and the residency condition on those places.
The work sits on Monday, 9 November. The Tuesday night serves a departing guest, because the programme closes at 5 p.m. and the venue holds nothing on 11 November.
Registration runs through the chapter. The venue marks the event Registration Required, and the 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900 takes a booking by phone.
