The hall that clears on Saturday
The NW Martial Arts Festival 2026 takes Hall A at the Oregon Convention Center on Saturday 7 November. The U.S. World Class Taekwondo Association runs the championships. Competition runs 8am to 5pm, and the venue's event record books the hall from 7am to 8pm.
Oddities and Curiosities Expo holds Halls C, D and E on 7 and 8 November. Three halls run into Sunday. Hall A closes on Saturday night.
A cash gate at a cashless building
The association charges $20 for a spectator pass. Its outline states cash only, and it prices boards at $5 each, cash, at check-in. The convention centre's own site states that it takes credit cards and contactless payments only.
The two pages disagree on payment at the door. The venue lists 503.772.8000 as the event contact.
No count and no block
The venue record, the association event page and the outline publish no attendance figure. The venue carries no capacity for the event and the outline carries no forecast.
The outline gives lodging one line. It reads that many hotels sit next to the Oregon Convention Center, then links to Expedia. No property, rate, group code or cut-off date appears. A booking made through that link arrives as an individual reservation, and the club behind the competitor does not appear on it.
The Sunday sits at the airport
The association runs its black belt graduation on 8 November at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Airport, 7900 NE 82nd Avenue. Candidates report at 8:45am, the capstone runs 9am to noon, spectators enter at 12:45pm, and the graduation runs 1pm to 3pm. Admission is $20 in cash.
That address sits 10.5 km from the convention centre, about 15 minutes on the OSRM driving route. A family entered in both events holds a Saturday night downtown and a Sunday morning at the airport.
Two clocks on the Saturday
The venue record books the hall for 13 hours. Competition fills nine of them. A property reading the venue record sees a 7am arrival window. A property reading the outline sees an 8am start.
The roster closes before the schedule
Online registration shuts at 11:59pm PST on 30 October. Entry costs $130 for a first event and $60 for each event after it. A $50 late fee applies from 25 October. The association releases the final schedule on 2 November, three days after the close.
The club books its rooms inside that six-day window, before it learns its session times. A property working on this weekend holds one dated decision.
The next booking in the building
The November calendar lists Major League Table Tennis on 20 to 22 November, 13 days after the championship. It carries no room count for either booking and no hotel demand line.
