Conrad Koh Samui Opens The Pearl, a 766 sq m Presidential Villa

Conrad Koh Samui opened The Pearl, a 766-square-metre two-level Presidential Villa with an in-villa wellness suite and a catering kitchen for chef-led dinners, on 1 October 2026.

Conrad Koh Samui Opens a Villa at the Top of the Resort

Conrad Koh Samui opened The Pearl, a 766-square-metre Presidential Villa, on 1 October 2026. The villa sits across two levels at the resort’s highest point. It looks out over the Gulf of Thailand and the Five Islands.

The resort calls it the most exclusive accommodation on the estate. Bookings run through conradkohsamui.com or by email at Conrad_Koh_Samui@conradhotels.com.

The Wellness Suite Sits Inside the Villa

The lower level holds a private couple’s treatment suite, a sauna, steam rooms, hot and cold hydrotherapy plunge pools and a fitness space. The resort says guests move between relaxation, movement and recovery without leaving the villa.

The daily shape the release describes opens with sunrise movement sessions. It runs through hydrotherapy rituals and closes with sunset aperitifs over the Five Islands.

Chefs Cook in the Villa

The upper level carries a dedicated catering kitchen. The resort’s chefs prepare and serve chef-led dinners inside the residence. A party that never leaves the villa still eats from the hotel kitchen, and the team keeps the covers in one room.

What Sits Where

The upper level holds an open-plan living room, a private bar and the catering kitchen, with a terrace facing the Five Islands. The lower level carries the master suite, a walk-in wardrobe and a marble spa bathroom with a rain shower and a deep-soaking jacuzzi. Outside, a 20-metre infinity pool runs along the terrace with sun loungers, a private outdoor cinema and a sunken dining pavilion.

The interior leans on Thai craft. A sculptural feature wall modelled on traditional timber construction serves as the centrepiece, worked as interwoven wood, with warm woods and natural stone through the rooms.

The General Manager on the Build

Marco Araujo, general manager of Conrad Koh Samui, said travellers increasingly value privacy, wellbeing and the freedom to set their own pace of travel. He said The Pearl brings those elements together in one setting.

The Numbers the Release Withholds

The release publishes no nightly rate for The Pearl, no sleeping capacity beyond the master suite and no change to the resort’s villa count. It does not state whether the villa is new construction or a rebuild, and it names no architect or designer.

The Estate The Pearl Sits Inside

Conrad Koh Samui is an all-villa resort at 49/8-9 Moo 4, Hillcrest Road, Taling-Ngam, on the island’s south-west coast. Kiwi Collection lists 25 acres of hillside and 82 private pool villas across one to three bedrooms, with three restaurants, two bars and a cafe. The Pearl adds one villa at the resort’s summit.
