Davidson Hospitality Group promoted Melissa Green to regional vice president, operations on 7 October 2026. She carries responsibility for driving performance across a portfolio of full-service hotels and resorts, per the company's release from Atlanta.
Jason Reader, chief operating officer, said the company recognised Green with the promotion and that she was one of the first individuals tapped for the launch of its inaugural GM Council. He said she will create value at the above-property level.
The record inside the move
Green was vice president and area managing director of The Davenport Hotel Collection, five hotels in downtown Spokane, Washington: the Davenport Hotel, The Davenport Tower, The Davenport Lusso, The Davenport Grand and The Centennial. The collection's own material now renders the Lusso as The Louie, a 48-key boutique that opened in 2025.
Davidson credits her with launching the first annual Pacific Northwest Food & Wine Festival across those properties. She was previously area general manager of Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge and Hotel Viking. Her recognition includes Franchise Leadership Team of the Year for Full-Service in North America from Hyatt Hotels Corporation and a place among the Spokane Journal of Business "25 People of Influence". She holds a B.S. in food and beverage management from Johnson & Wales.
The operator at 90 hotels
Davidson states that it manages 90 existing hotels and resorts and more than 240 restaurants, bars and lounges, with 1.4 million square feet of meeting space across the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. It lists Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Kimpton, Margaritaville and Nobu among its preferred operator relationships. Four operating verticals carry the work: Davidson Hotels, Pivot, Davidson Resorts and Davidson Restaurant Group.
