Two titles, one holder
Dreamscape Hospitality has given Adam Patenaude the chief executive title. He keeps the president title he has held since May 2024.
The company announced the change on 13 October 2026. Patenaude joined Dreamscape in 2024 from Aimbridge Hospitality, where he was senior vice president of operations, HOTELS Magazine reported.
The release carries a statement from Eric Birnbaum, chairman of parent company Dreamscape Companies.
The number the company publishes
The operator's portfolio page opens with a header reading Properties Under Management: 36. The list under it runs to 41 rows.
Four of those rows are not hotels. Two repeat a property already listed: Columbus Marriott Airport and Delta Hotels Ontario Airport. Two are the company's own addresses: the Dreamscape Support Center in McKinney, Texas, and Dreamscape Companies in New York.
Strip the four and the page names 37 distinct properties against a header of 36. The page dates neither figure, and its footer reads 2025.
Where the hotels sit
The rows reach 18 states. Texas carries eight hotels, Louisiana five and California four. Wisconsin carries three. Ohio, Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and Oklahoma carry two each.
Seven names carry no chain flag: The Blackbird Hotel and The Garden District Hotel in New Orleans, the Harland Hotel in Anaheim, Hotel Solaya in Scottsdale, The Georgian in Santa Monica, St. Clair Inn in Michigan and The Doyle Hotel in Charlottesville.
The projection
Dreamscape projects more than 40 hotels by the end of its second full year of operation. It puts the portfolio across 13 brands and names Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt and IHG.
The labels on the page run to 16. Hilton: Hampton Inn & Suites, Hampton Inn Freeport, Home2Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, DoubleTree. Marriott: Marriott, Courtyard, Residence Inn, Springhill Suites, Fairfield, Delta Hotels, Sheraton. Hyatt: Hyatt Place, Hyatt Regency. IHG: Holiday Inn Express, Holiday Inn.
The support centre sits at 8850 Collin McKinney Parkway in McKinney, Texas.
