The Title Change
Dreamscape Hospitality promoted Adam Patenaude to president and chief executive officer. He has held the president title since May 2024, when he joined to lead the company’s launch. The announcement adds the chief executive role to the same seat.
hotelbusiness.com and Hospitality Net carried the news on 13 October 2026. HOTELS Magazine and Hotel Dive followed on 14 October.
The Numbers Behind the Promotion
The company projects a portfolio of more than 40 hotels by the end of its second full year operating hotels. The release puts that portfolio across 13 global brands, naming Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt and IHG Hotels & Resorts alongside independent and boutique properties.
Hotel Dive calls the company Dallas-based and the current portfolio dozens of hotels. The growth runs through a corporate support centre in McKinney, Texas, which HOTELS Magazine reports was completed last year.
Patenaude spent 15 years at Aimbridge Hospitality as senior vice president of operations before he joined Dreamscape, per HOTELS Magazine.
Two Accounts of His Tenure
Hotel Dive records two years in the president role. HOTELS Magazine records two and a half years, counted from the company’s launch. Both date his arrival to May 2024.
What the Company Said
“Under Adam’s leadership, Dreamscape Hospitality has grown at a pace that would be impressive in any market,” Eric Birnbaum, chairman of Dreamscape Companies, said in the release.
Dreamscape tapped Bill Stadler as chief investment officer in September 2025, per Hotel Dive. The release calls the pipeline strong and says it will take the operator into new markets. Hotel Dive reports that the company did not answer its questions on future growth plans.
The notice carries no effective date, no management fee, no contract term and no successor. Patenaude keeps both titles.
