JLL Places Three-Year Loan on AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront

JLL arranged a three-year loan with two one-year extension options for the 150-key AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront in Vancouver, Washington, on behalf of Vesta Hospitality.

JLL arranged refinancing for the AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront, a 150-key, seven-story hotel at 333 W. Columbia Way in Vancouver, Washington. The borrower is Vesta Hospitality. The loan runs three years and carries two one-year extension options.

JLL announced the arrangement on 8 October 2026 with a Phoenix dateline. Hotel News Resource carried the release on 19 October 2026, eleven days after the announcement.

The terms on the record

JLL’s Hotels & Hospitality Group worked for Vesta Hospitality. The release states the three-year term and the two extension options. It states no loan amount. It names no lender.

Managing Director Adrienne Andrews led the JLL team. Analyst Jessica Mehra worked the deal with her.

“JLL was an exceptional partner throughout the refinancing process,” said Rick Takach, CEO of Vesta Hospitality. “Adrienne Andrews brought deep expertise in hotel capital markets, conducting a thorough canvas of the lending landscape and presenting a comprehensive range of financing options.”

Andrews tied the loan to the wider redevelopment. “This financing supports Vesta Hospitality’s long-term vision for the asset, and the continued growth of Vancouver’s waterfront redevelopment,” she said.

A ground lease with the Port of Vancouver USA

The hotel operates on a ground lease with the Port of Vancouver USA. The property sits along the Columbia River waterfront inside a Qualified Opportunity Zone. The Port lists the AC Hotel by Marriott among the features of Terminal 1 on the port-owned 10-acre site.

150 rooms and 11,720 square feet of meeting space

The building holds 150 guestrooms across seven stories. Amenities include an outdoor deck, structured parking, a fitness center, spa and wellness facilities, and Ondus, a Pacific Northwest Mediterranean restaurant that opened in 2025.

The meeting-space figure moved 220 square feet

Vesta opened the hotel on 15 June 2022. Its opening release listed seven meeting rooms with 11,500 square feet of flexible meeting space. The 2026 release states 11,720 square feet. The two documents differ by 220 square feet. Neither explains the difference.

The guestroom count held at 150 across both releases. The 2022 release records three suites among the rooms.

First building finished at Terminal 1

The AC Hotel was the first completed project inside the Port of Vancouver USA’s Terminal 1 redevelopment. Vesta developed it. Terminal 1 now carries office, hospitality, residential, retail and public gathering space. The hotel has access to Interstate 5 and sits minutes from downtown Portland and Portland International Airport.

Vesta Hospitality

Vesta Hospitality was established in 1996. The company develops and manages hotels from Vancouver, Washington. It self-manages the AC Hotel Vancouver Waterfront.

The three-year term, the two extension options and the 150-key collateral are the terms on the record.
