RAD Hotel Group has put Lochgreen House Hotel & Spa in Troon at the centre of its 2026 Christmas programme. The Ayrshire property runs a festive season for the first time since it joined the group.
The ten-venue group
The group's own About page states a portfolio of ten venues across Scotland, and dates the business to a 1999 purchase of Lochside House Hotel. The owners are Robert and Vivien Kyle.
Lochgreen's own site marks its first Christmas as part of RAD Hotel Group. The property sits in Troon, on the Ayrshire coast.
Christmas Day at Lochgreen
Lochgreen serves a four-course Christmas Day lunch from 12:30pm to 5pm, at £120 per adult, £60 for children under 14 and £30 for children aged two to seven. A Christmas package starts at £1,100 for two people sharing across two nights, with Christmas Day dinner, a Christmas Eve dinner, a grazing platter and breakfast with a continental selection each morning.
Hogmanay
The Hogmanay Gala Ball runs at £135 per person. The evening opens with a glass of bubbly and canapés, moves to a six-course dinner, and continues with live entertainment from Sneaky Treacle and the Maybole Pipe Band. A piper marks the New Year at midnight. Doors open at 6:30pm and carriages fall at 1:30am.
Hogmanay accommodation starts at £670 for two people sharing on a one-night stay. A two-night option adds a New Year's Day lunch or dinner and afternoon tea.
Ladies Days through November
The Here Comes Christmas Ladies Days run at £50 per person on Monday 9 to Thursday 12 November and Monday 16 to Thursday 19 November, with two further dates on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 November. The ticket covers morning coffee and homemade shortbread, a cookery demonstration from the master chef, a fashion show, a three-course lunch with tea or coffee and a glass of Prosecco, and access to a shopping exhibition. Doors open at 11am.
Festive party nights
Lochgreen's own party nights run on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 December at £60 per person, with a glass of bubbly on arrival, a three-course meal, live music from Amplifive and a DJ host. Room packages start at £260 for single occupancy and £350 for a double.
Seven further venues carry Christmas party-night pages. The published prices run from £49.95 per person at Lochside, Hetland Hall and Fairfield House Hotel, to from £55.00 at Dalmeny Park, from £65.00 at Seamill Hydro, from £67.50 at Radstone and from £69.95 at Brig o' Doon House Hotel. Each runs from 6.30pm to 1am.
Seamill Hydro holds Christmas markets on Sunday 15 and Sunday 22 November, from 11am to 5pm, with free entry.
The count to watch
The group's events index names eight venues with Christmas party-night pages. The portfolio line on the About page and Lochgreen's own page both state ten.
