A Renovated Theatre Adds a January Date
Resorts World Las Vegas has added The Piano Guys to its 2027 calendar. The resort announcement places the quartet at Resorts World Theatre for a one-night performance on 27 January 2027. The date belongs to the group's West Coast Tour 2027.
Resorts World published the notice on 29 September 2026, and the same announcement describes the room as newly renovated. It lists dedicated VIP entry, luxury VIP banquettes with cocktail service, two VIP lounges with private bars and premium access, and an audio system of more than 200 L-Acoustics speakers. Two Capacity Figures From the Renovation
AEG Presents Las Vegas and Resorts World Las Vegas announced the renovation on 29 May 2025. Construction began in the first week of June 2025 and ran to an early September reopening, set for Janet Jackson's return on 10 September 2025.
The renovation release states the updated capacity at 4,869 with general admission plus seated areas, and 4,561 fully seated. The theatre opened in December 2021 with a capacity of 5,000. Montreal theatre design firm Scene Plus led the design and construction.
The work added a scalable floor for a general admission layout in front of the stage, along with multiple seated configurations. Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas, tied the added flexibility and the VIP accommodations to a wider booking range for the room.
Sixty-Seven Banquettes and Two Lounges
The renovation release lists a new VIP area with 67 banquettes and beverage service. The 2027 show announcement carries the guest-facing description of that build. It names dedicated VIP entry, luxury VIP banquettes with cocktail service, and two VIP lounges with private bars and premium access.
Seating runs to a general admission floor or a fully seated configuration. The resort states that the furthest seat sits 150 feet from the stage.
More Than 200 L-Acoustics Speakers
The audio system holds more than 200 L-Acoustics speakers powered by L-ISA Immersive Hyperreal Sound technology. Both the renovation release and the 2027 show announcement carry that figure. L-Acoustics stayed on as the sound provider through the work.
The Headliners the Room Has Held
The theatre opened in December 2021. Its residency roster has included Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, Michael Buble, Kevin Hart and Janet Jackson.
AEG Presents Books the Room
AEG Presents Las Vegas books Resorts World Theatre in an exclusive partnership with the resort. Ticket sales run through AXS.com, and Resorts World directs buyers to rwlasvegas.com/entertainment. Public tickets go on sale Friday 2 October 2026 at 10 a.m. Pacific, and a presale opened Wednesday 30 September at 10 a.m. Pacific.
The Resort Around the Theatre
Resorts World Las Vegas opened in 2021 and was developed by Genting Berhad. The resort describes itself as a $4.3 billion integrated property on the Las Vegas Strip with more than 3,500 rooms across three Hilton brands: Las Vegas Hilton, Conrad Las Vegas and Crockfords Las Vegas.
The same company block lists a 117,000-square-foot cashless casino, more than 50 food and beverage options, premium retail and a 27,000-square-foot spa. The property holds Sharecare Health Security verification with Forbes Travel Guide, and its hotel brands carry LEED Gold certification. What the Announcement Leaves Open
The show announcement prints no ticket price, no VIP package price and no start time for the Las Vegas date. It sets no room rate or stay package around the booking.
The group's figures come from its own published record. That record lists an official debut in 2011, 13 albums and six No. 1 debuts on the Billboard classical albums chart. It states more than 2 billion global streams and more than 1.6 billion YouTube views. The quartet is Jon Schmidt, Steven Sharp Nelson, Paul Anderson and Al van der Beek.
