Stonebridge Adds the Courtyard and Element Atlanta Midtown

Stonebridge takes on the 282-room dual-branded Courtyard by Marriott and Element by Marriott Atlanta Midtown, its second Atlanta addition of 2026.

Stonebridge has added the dual-branded Courtyard by Marriott and Element by Marriott Atlanta Midtown to its managed portfolio. The Denver-based management company announced the addition under a Denver dateline dated October 1, 2026.

A 282-Room Dual-Brand Property in Midtown Atlanta

The property holds 282 rooms inside one building and dates to 2021. It sits in the Midtown Atlanta cultural district, across the street from the Fox Theatre, a National Historic Landmark and a live-entertainment venue.

The 2021 opening placed a Courtyard by Marriott and an Element hotel under a single roof at the corner of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Peachtree Street. The building carries two brands, two lobby identities and one operating structure.

Stonebridge Takes On an Existing Partner's Hotel

Rob Smith, Stonebridge's chief executive officer and president, framed the assignment as a repeat mandate. "This dual-branded property represents a strong addition to our portfolio and further expands our presence in one of the country's most dynamic urban markets," he said. "I am honored that an existing partner has chosen to expand our relationship and entrust us with another one of their hotels."

The release names no owner. Noble Investment Group opened the property in 2021, and the 2026 announcement identifies the owner only as an existing partner of Stonebridge.

The Dining Plan at The Ponce Room Bar and Kitchen

Stonebridge will run the dining work through its Food and Beverage division. The company plans to build the signature outlet, The Ponce Room Bar and Kitchen, around indoor and patio seating, a Southern-inspired menu, a craft cocktail list and pre- and post-theater trade.

Breakfast takes an expansion as well. The release points to added menu options at the Elements RISE breakfast experience, alongside the on-site Starbucks and Courtyard Bistro.

The 2021 opening release named Matthew Montandon as executive chef and Tim Dahlen as general manager. The 2026 announcement carries no property leadership names.

11,000 Square Feet of Meeting Space and the Revenue Case

The hotel carries a fitness center and more than 11,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space. Stonebridge plans to work those features, along with the dining program, to drive revenue and sharpen the hotel's competitive position in the Atlanta market.

An in-house commercial team runs the sales and revenue management strategy. The announcement carries no revenue target, no performance benchmark and no contract term.

The 2021 opening release recorded a combined 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space at the same address. The 2026 release carries the 11,000-square-foot figure, and neither document explains the difference.

A Second Atlanta Addition This Year

Stonebridge added the JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown on 29 July 2026. The Midtown dual-brand mandate is the company's second Atlanta addition of the year.

The company's recent additions include the Margaritaville Lake Resort, Lake Conroe, in Montgomery, Texas, on 22 January 2026; the 270-room DoubleTree by Hilton Denver Cherry Creek on 17 February 2026; and the 179-room Anthem Los Angeles Stadium District, Tapestry by Hilton, on 2 June 2026. The 2026 release describes the strategy as expansion in key gateway and urban markets.

The Portfolio and the Company Behind It

Stonebridge is privately owned and Denver-based. Its own site reports more than 160 hotels and more than 25,000 guest rooms across more than 25 states, and dates the founding to 1991.

The 2026 release describes a balanced portfolio of luxury, resort, full-service and premium select-service hotels across more than 25 states, Washington, DC and the Caribbean. The company's own pages carry the state count and hold no Caribbean element.

Two Dates and Two Records

Hotel Business and HOTELS Magazine carried the release on 22 September 2026, and LODGING Magazine carried it on 23 September, all with the same Rob Smith quote. The Hotel Online copy carries an October 1 dateline and the same text.

The brand names have moved as well. The 2021 opening used Element by Westin, and the 2026 release uses Element by Marriott, which matches Marriott's current usage.

The room count and the amenity list come from the two release texts, dated 2021 and 2026.
